　“グラビア界の黒船”としてリアブームを日本中に巻き起こしたリアが、まさかの電撃ゴールインだ。現時点でお相手は正式発表されていないが、明日、都内で結婚会見を開催し自ら詳細を発表する。

Basic summary:

After the first encore song on the last day of her tour, she says "Next is the last song. Before that, I have a very important news." And with tears, "Actually, I got married recently. I am pregnant. I will take a rest for awhile, but I will return. I will continue to try hard to so please support me."

She will take a break from showbiz activities.

She might, but since all her fan base is men (unlike Amuro), guys here aren't going to give her a second thought anymore..

That would likely explain why the article that Adamu posted said she was crying. She probably realizes that she's screwed herself over.

I'm not a big Leah Dizon fan, but congratulations to her anyway (though it also really surprised me

there's been so many of these celebrity shotgun marriages lately

).

Though she said she'll come back, I don't really know what she'd do. She was mostly famous for gravure and I doubt she could continue that after the marriage/kid. Aside from that, though she has a singing career, her singing is doinky (and the singing career only served as a means of promotion for her gravure career anyway)...so I don't really know. Maybe if she comes back she'll become a generic variety show タレント.

Just read the little article. Says she's 4 months pregnant, so I guess she had to tell everyone before she started to show.

Says she married a Japanese ikemen stylist. So it's probably some normal guy.

Gotta tell her congrats and good luck. She's gonna need it.

I innocently clicked on this thread for some leah hotness (ok, not so innocently) and find out just how thoroughly she perfected the whole jpop star thing by getting knocked up and married.

So the general thinking is no combo of tattoos and hip hop will salvage her career?
