Ok so I guess you can call this kind of cheating. Kinda. For those not in the know, Eternal Sonata is surely one of the games this generation with a really bizarre setup. You're playing a game in the mindset of famous Polish pianist, Frederic Chopin, whilst on his death bed. The game would occassionally stop the narrative to play one of Chopin's songs, with real life, artistic still images accompanying a text description of his life. Er, the real Chopin that is, not the video game one which you play as. And I really enjoyed the choice of tracks, especially the ones you see below:

I've only played two KoF games, but when I was watching Faith No More videos one day, I saw a comment about The Ikari Warriors team having "Surprise! You're Dead" as their theme music.

Wait a minute. You mean to say there's selections from FFVIII here in this topic, some of which are by myself no less, and not one of them was Liberi Fatali? Let's fix that right now:

Best opening ever

Never played WKC but holy hell! This song is one of the most amazing I've heard for a game.

Kinda surprised Halo hasn't been mentioned yet. Amazing moody soundracks.

Probably the best music out of nowhere moment in a game after The Best Is Yet To Come in MGS4.

Nobou Uematsu will always be rightfully regarded for making some of the best tracks for any FF game, but that's not to take away from Masashi Hamauzu's work on FFXIII, a soundtrack which I'm enjoying immensely as I play through the game:

^ You sir have just reminded me that I need to complete Tales of Vesperia. I think I was wandering around grinding for items to make new weapons last time I left it off. Anyway, the intro anime short to Tales of Vesperia is perhaps one of my absolute favourites. I never skip it. You've inspired me to play it again  :D

This is one of my favourite songs in the game, it helps that it accompanies one of my favourite locations in the game too, Dahngrest.

So many awesome Sonic songs >.< I really hope my friend buy the game so I can play in his house. I have no wii, and playing that game in DS is just... no  XD

I loved Vesperia. Rita  . I'm so happy I inspired you :3 Go go and plaay ~  The intro is my favourite too, both song and movie. But I think my favourite Tales will always be Tales of Legendia. It's too underrated, in my opinion. It has some negative points, but I had so much fun playing that one. And the ost is awesome.

There were another song of Vesperia I loved, but I don't remember which was it. So.. let's post another one~

^ Love the violin here.

^ I didn't like too much FFX-2, but it has awesome music <3

I loved Vesperia. Rita

I'm a Judith man myself XD I did end up playing it last night and got right back into the flow of the combat. Love using Savage Wolf Fury when an enemy's really annoying me! Did some more of the story and discovered that there's still a lot more to do, in terms of story and side quests, at 90 hrs in the game! :o A gargantuan game.

It's got a great soundtrack too:

When playing Infinite Undiscovery yesterday I had a musical deja vu that reminded me of a song from Star Ocean 4, then I saw it was the same composer, so no wonder XD

I never skip the opening movie, it gives me shivers everytime.
