mass of the fermenting dregs have a new vid up on their myspace. It's studio footage of them recording and stuff in New York :o  They worked with Dave Fridmann who's famous for working with the Flaming Lips. Looks like we're gonna get some new stuff!!! and since it was recorded in the US, I'm hoping for a US release :D

Also I was wondering if anyone had anything from punk band Bleach 03 they'd like to share :D

Dave Fridmann, fo real? He also worked on Number Girl's last two albums. So no word on what kind of a release they were recording?

It's about time we got some new motfd!

I can hook you up once I get back home from work, but that won't be for 8 more hours, so anyone else feel free to beat me to it. xD

just found this blog entry

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=1000558439&blogID=285559143

from skimming through some of what I can actually read, they only recorded one new song called "beaazu" and re-recorded i f a surfer(which is mostly what's in the video). But I barely read any of it so there might be more. Maybe they just don't want to spoil the fans  :/

Sweet, new stuff! Cool video. The bass sounds really good. I like her tone.

Oh, and here's a Bleach album, http://www.badongo.com/file/3903707

Fuck yeah, it's about time.

Too bad it's just six tracks and just three of them are new. And Dave produced just two, what?

Anyway, I'm just aching for more MOTFD so yay.

Anyone know any good female-fronted bands with decent guitar solos in 'em? I wanna hear like a good metal band with a fmeale vocalist that has ace solos in that are pretty quick but so far I haven't even found anything similar.

I really don't pay attention to guitar solos, so 犬神サーカス団 is all that comes to mind.

Was surfing youtube and happened to cross this band.

NEW STRIKE ZIPPER
http://www.audioleaf.com/new_strike_zipper/

They're an all girl pop-punk band with dual vocals. Sorta sounds like PinPan with a punch  Maybe like the poppier side of Maximum the Hormone.

Recommended if you like late 90's pop punk bands like early Blink-182 and New Found Glory and lots of bands off of Drive Thru Records' early catalog  But with punchier bass lines and some rapping.

Here's the PV for "READY TO GO"

Not as easy on the eyes though.  That said, I like the sound, I'll have to order that mini-album they have coming out.
