Chapter 1 – The birth of Sae-Kun
Miyazawa Sae, 21 years old, proud member of Team K, selected for the first round of AKB48 involvement in Final Fantasy ½ Life.
And now, she is free falling in an infinite darkness.
“What kind of nightmare is this?”
“Is it a hidden camera?”
“This isn’t a variety show right?”
“Hello! This isn’t funny ok! Somebody better stop this or else…”
<Boom> goes the sound of Miyazawa landing gracelessly into a dark room.
“Ah! Mitai…” groans Sae, rubbing her bruised parts gingerly.
“Don’t you guys have a better way of starting a game!” she complains, showing a clenched fist up in the air in anger.
“Baka! This is stupid! Why am I in this anyway? They should have started with Mayuyu or Haruyan. At least they enjoy games…” curses Sae as she walks angrily in circles in an unwomanly manner, trying to find an exit.
A bright light suddenly breaks her momentum, temporary blinding her. Using her hand to shield her eyes, she slowly looks towards the source of light, only to have them widen at the sight of a familiar face.
“Eh? Mocchi…”
“Dear traveller, welcome to Final Fantasy ½ Life! My name is Kuramochi Asuka. I will be your guide…” greets an AKB48 uniformed Mocchi.
“Mocchi! Stop playing? What’s this crazy madness all about?” replies a frustrated Sae.
“Dear traveller, please hold on as we start the character creation process. We will proceed with your body and vocal scan to create an Avatar similar to your real self…”
“Eh… stop it! This tickles…” laughs Sae as red beams scan through her body to gather data.
“Data gathering completed. Please select your race and class please…”
“Race and Class? What are those?” replies a confused Sae.
“Dear Traveller, you can choose from various races from Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, to even element spirits, vampires, werewolves, demons and angels. For class, you can choose from the two basic classes, Squire or Chemist, the base classes for warrior and magician jobs respectively…”
“I’m confused… What should I choose?”
“Based on your data scan, you seem to be the physical type. It will be best that you select an Orc or Human and be a Squire…”
“An Orc? But it’s so ugly! And the human female warrior looks so weak. Can’t you buff me with some muscle?”
“Dear Traveller, the simulated female warrior is based on your body and looks. You can’t blame me if you look undeveloped. Besides, females don’t look good with bulging muscles…”
“That’s true…. How about making me a male then? I’m sure you would be agreeable with a muscular male right?”
“I’m sorry. In Final Fantasy ½ Life, your gender and looks are based on your real self…”
“What! Isn’t this an RPG Game? I heard from Mayu that in RPG games, you get to choose your own character creation!” complains Sae.
“Please hold while I check with the main server…. Your request has being approved due to your status as AKB48 Member. Starting simulation of Male Warrior now…”
A male version of Sae slowly appears in front of the two of them. As the simulation slowly fades into existence, Sae blushes at the sight of her male Avatar.
“My gosh… I didn’t know I could look so good as a male…”
“Simulation is completed. Based on data, you would look better as an elf. Starting re-simulation now…”
If the human male version of Sae could make her blush, the elven version of her gave her a nose bled.
With white silvery hair, tied into a ponytail, blue deep eyes, boyish jawline, and pointed ears, completed with a muscular but agile looking body, the new simulation of her looks even better then her vampire role in Infinity.
“God…” whispers Sae as she looks on in admiration at her new body.
“Dear player, please get ready for start of game. Game will commence in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Enjoy!” greets Mocchi with a wink as the world fades into darkness.
“Not again…” cries Sae

“What! You send Sae-chan into the game?” screams Takjo Aki at the top of her lungs.
“We were only suppose to be traveller guides and not actual gamers…”
“But Akicha! You should have seen Sae-chan as a male! It’s so droolsome!”
“But we already had seen her as a male during AKBingo and Infinity Musical…”
“But it’s different! Those were just dressing up. Now we have a REAL Sae-Kun!”
“A real Sae-Kun?”
“Yes a REAL SAE-KUN!” cries Asuka happily.
“Then what are we waiting for? Lets get into the game too before Yukirin finds out…”
