Well then, for those of you who couldn't come to the press conference, I have an announcement♪

I, Kikkawa Yuu, have been given my first leading part in a movie to be publicly released during Golden Week this May♪

The title is "Kikkake wa YOU!"
And then! It's been decided that I will debut on March 30 with the movie's theme song from Universal Music, titled "Kikkake wa YOU!" the same as the movie!!!

Furthermore, I'm going to be the opening act for "UNIVERSAL DREAM LIVE 2011" on March 19th at Osaka's Universal Studios Japan!

Since there's all these big jobs, I'm continually nervous.

But, with everyone's support and encouragement, I want us all to keep going together.

So, please continue to support Kikkawa Yuu!!!

That's why I stopped reading most idol blogs a while ago. It can be useful to get some sneak previews of new costumes or any info... but mostly it's about their fav food and stuff  :nervous

I'm excited about Yuu's single. I'll admit she wasn't my fav at all when she first appeared, but I guess she is one of Tsunku's good discoveries. It's like her potential is coming out and she's pretty interesting and funny.

Anyone else find it confusingly hilarious that her name is now officially romanized as "You"? :lol:

Just reading through the Up Front Link blog gives us the following gems:

Just got today's Kikka email and she said that today she was recording Uta no Rakuen!
Since this is her first music show appearance, she said she was nervous.

The episode with her will air on 3/20.

I dig those covers. She looks like a serious artist with a pretty classy adult vibe.

Sadly, the PV sorta ruins that vibe  :nervous

The song is ok, but it sorta lacks impact. I hope it does well, of course, but I wonder if this has any sort of mass appeal...

Maybe that's why I like the B-sides better, especially Fuyuzora Hanabi.
It's got a kinda melancholy sound to it and her vocals are amazing!
