That was funny as hell to read.
"Yo, microphone check one, two, what is this? The five foot assassin with the roughneck business"
"Are you my mummy?"
"Hello, Sweetie."
"Who's scruffy looking?"

Wow. The Closetnerd subspecies sort of describes me. I got too close to a Narutard one time and ended up looking like one.

May I humbly suggest to the assembled community a new classification?

The Old Fighter-We who are veterans of the Subbed v Dubbed Wars of the 90s, devotees of shows that modern young whippersnappers have never heard of, such as Bubblegum Crisis, Gall Force, and Robotech (aka Macross), the stuff that newbies see and laugh at the poor art.
What a wonderful world it is that has girls in it!

One of my friends told me there are 3 types of Otaku in Japan.  Electric Otaku, Game Otaku and Figure Otaku.  Apparently the Figure Otaku's scare the hell outta her.

I am most likely an otaku who is addicting to girls' groups (dream, AKB48...) and figures (BB Gundams)

Hmmm....would appear I fit in none of the categories listed.

However, I would definitely fall into a mixture of Old School Anime, Mecha-head (more to mecha than Gundam) and a few others.

There are actually a bunch of established otaku "sub-species" that that article doesn't even mention. lol

I think shokotan is a much more reliable(and sexy) source of otaku info than whoever wrote that.

(yes I know the person isn't serious... but it makes the person seem a little ignorant of actual otaku culture <_<)

For those trolls. They betta stay in that house. Cuz if I run into one of them in real life it won't be pretty.
