Where's Jason Maas now?
Argos QB coach.
http://www.argonauts.ca/page/jason-maas-1624

They BFFs  lol

Saw that debacle 1 second left vs the Lions WOW. Like that's about as worse as Riders 11 men on the field. DOH!!

Sucks bout Paul LaPolice - goes to show it's a "What have you done for me lately?" instant-results kinda society we live in - what a turn of events. Swaggerville went out like it was 2009

GUESS WHO IS BACK!! Boyd was nice but I'd take a beast rumbling through the trenches like JEROME MESSAM!!

nice try with the Dolphins (wonder if he was on Hard Knocks lol) but green and GOld is where u belong. now sign TO and Chad Johnson and McNabb and we got a TEAM!!!

Well, THAT was pretty historical. First shutout loss since 1969 or some shit, and it had to come against the Riders who had lost 5 in a row.  I'm just glad it happened RIGHT after LaPolice was canned.

First game in Commonwealth EVER. Tough. Tough loss. Coming down to that last second, they coulda run the ball more to not make Kerry Joseph not just sit there and get chewed up so he couldn't play action. Three headed monster don't work here, Boyd gotta go. MAN was I was such a noob that I wasn't quiet on the Offense. Just screaming the fuck out. The special teams was so iffy Burnett doing a dance for YAC when he couldn't FUCK!

Here's some pix and vid I took:

HIGHLIGHTS THO. oh man special teams yeah. The botch FG turn into trickery roll into the endzone before the end of the 2nd half was SO SO SWEET. and gots to GOTS to have a Fred Stamps TD. so so close.

Bryan Hall local sportscaster on radio and long time play by play man was there to sing the Fight Song too.

Hey! Get your Esks cheer team calendar!

mmm Roxy "Something not very many people know about me: I volunteered as a medical aid in Peru for 3 weeks after my first year of University." GJ!

and more cheer team  "reports" http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=377.msg1092594#msg1092594

we got these free bags lol

Lol there was these geeks beside us swearing talking junk at "Hey! You not a Esks fan leaving early, go watch Sex n the City but then his greezy homie had to leave early too" lol...overall the STADIUM was hella spacious and great experience fuckin can't believe it's been this long.

Ok, ok, ok...I understand that the Bombers' new, interim head coach, Tim Burke, is a defensive specialist (hell, he was promoted to his current position after having done well as our defensive coach for the past couple of seasons). I also understand that with this being Burke's first actual head coaching position, he's still a "rookie" at it, so to speak.  HOWEVER, even a defensive coach/specialist must know that scoring points usually helps to win football games and that, if an opportunity to score presents itself, one should...I dunno...try to take advantage of it?

So why is it that, in the final 30 seconds of today's Banjo Bowl match between the Bombers and Roughriders, when, with a slim 1 point lead, the Bomber offense had possession of the football within 30-35 yards of the opposing goal line WHICH, by the way, was within the FG range of our kicker, WHY did our new, rookie coach, Mr. Tim Burke, decide to PUNT the football away instead of, I dunno....GOING FOR THE FUCKIN' GUARANTEED 3 POINTS THAT THE FIELD GOAL WOULD HAVE GIVEN US?!?!??!

Going for a field goal would have eaten up the exact same amount of time on the clock that punting it used up, AND it would have given us a 4-point lead, which would have forced the Roughriders to HAVE to try to, within the last 20-odd seconds in the game, march the football ALL THE WAY to our endzone for a touchdown in order to win the game. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...because we PUNTED the ball, all the 'Riders had to do was move the football the equivalent of about HALF of the length of the field to be able to get within the FG range of THEIR kicker, who subsequently SCORED a field goal to win the game for them with FOUR FUCKIN' SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME!!!
:mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad: :shilivid: :mon mad:

The FIRST thing that the Bombers' brass should have fuckin' told Burke when they hired him as our new head coach:

Tim, if the team has a chance to score....
TRY TO SCORE!!!

This is actually the first time I heard of fines for a team.  TBH it sounds reasonable for the price

Well, from a Grey Cup appearance last year to finishing in the league's basement this year, and even though there's still one game left, the shit show that was the Bombers' 2012 season is, for all intents and purposes, done. Only potentially good to come out of this finish is that we'll have first crack at what is said to be a good group of new, upcoming players at the next draft.

At least the new stadium appears to be coming along nicely.

Here's hoping that some dead weight *cough* general manager Joe Mack *cough* gets cut out during the off-season.

WOW Tillman got fired, you think trading Ricky Ray and doing worse than last year had something to do with it?
