Machete Kills is an upcoming action film, written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. It is the second in a series that started with the 2010 film Machete (presaged by a fake trailer in Grindhouse). Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan and Michelle Rodriguez will be reprising their roles from the first film, and are joined by series newcomers Sofía Vergara, Demián Bichir, Amber Heard, Antonio Banderas, Zoe Saldana, Edward James Olmos, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding Jr., Alexa Vega, William Sadler, Lady Gaga, Marko Zaror with Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson. The film will follow the titular ex-federale (Trejo) as he is recruited by the US President (Sheen) to stop an arms dealer (Gibson) from launching a deadly missile. On October 18, 2012 Open Road Films picked up U.S. distribution rights to Machete Kills..

Wow cast is awesome! The first one pushed the boundaries of movies! Jessica, Zoe, Vanessa, and Sofia? Definitely watching in the theaters and purchasing the probably uncut blu-ray release...
Lol....didnt Lindsey Lohan's character die in the first one?

This cast. Wow. ... Mel Gibson, though. Hahaha.

I missed out on seeing Machete in cinemas, but I'll be ready for this one. Will have to do a thorough re-watch of Machete first, though. 8]

It's almost like Robert Rodriguez and Tarantino are trying to compete to cast washed up 80s actors :lol:

I wanna see how toned the actresses GET!!! Like Hudgens from the set, Granny Panting :drool:

Oh man, can't wait to see this. Action, comedy, one liners, hot babes... What more do you want.

This movie has to have one of the most epic casts ever. Sheen as American President alone is priceless  XD

The only thing I wont like is that poor Sartana dies at the beginning of the movie. Jessica Alba is only in the beginning of the film.

^ You watched it already? The first one wasn't that good, but if Alexa is in it, and in a bra no less, then it must be a good movie!

I am excited for this movie! The film is set to be released on October 11, 2013.
