POST #900 DEDICATED TO MY FIRST (J-POP) LOVE
I made sure to stay up for as long as the concert kept running, and I swear I almost nodded off during the second intermission.
But it was worth it.
The encore was such a fitting end to the concert, seeing her in regular clothes and creating a relaxed atmosphere, like she's already made that transition into normal life. I consider myself very fortunate to see her live back in January (and on her birthday no less), especially after the news broke out of her hiatus, and it's only now that it's starting to hit me that she won't have any new music for a while.
I will definitely be getting all of her Japanese albums once it's financially viable to do so (boo Japanese prices
)...in the meantime, I can still enjoy the albums and random MP3s I already have. Exodus was the first CD of hers I bought, and it remains one of my favorite albums of all time.
Thank you Hikki for many years worth of awesome music. You will be missed...good luck with your personal goals, and please [noembed][/noembed] again stronger than ever!
