f(x) to finish Electric Shock promotions and prepare for Japanese debut

After making a successful comeback with ‘Electric Shock’ and seizing first place on music programs, girl group f(x) will end their album promotions with their final performance on SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo’ this weekend on the 15th. It seems that they will be interrupting their Korean activities for a short while, as f(x) will also be preparing for their Japanese debut for the latter half of the year.

Representatives from SM Entertainment commented, “Although we haven’t come out with a definite schedule yet, we will be preparing [f(x)] for their official Japanese debut during the second half of the year.” They continued to ensure Korean fans, “[f(x)] will be attending to Korean activities occasionally alongside [their Japanese activities].”

Besides Sulli‘s schedule with her drama ‘To the Beautiful You’, there haven’t been other activities scheduled for the group for the time being.

jsyk they had 9 wins with Electric Shock~

And I can see Nu ABO working considering when they performed it for Music Bank/SMTown in Japan, the crowd really loved it ~~or they already loved it cause they're already fans.~~

I feel like one of their recent comeback songs would be their debut JPN single, for me I feel like Jet would make a pretty good JPN remake; it's poppy and fun and I think it fits pretty well in JPOP.

Wow I had no idea how well Sulli could act. Anyone going to watch her in to the beautiful you (remake of hanakimi)? I liked the japanese version and from the trailer the korean version looks pretty good. The one thing I'm worried about is Minho's acting ._.

As much as I don't care about these Japanese versions, of course I need to watch the videos at least. Rawr, the amount of leg in this vid. But yeah, feels like a somewhat strange choice for a first single... maybe coz it's summer and they can just repeat Hot Summer ad inifinitum with a minimal amount of awkward lines in Japanese? I do like this song (it's still a prime example of how to successfully salvage an absolutely terrifying original) but I felt that pretty much any of their other singles would've worked better... shrug.

But anyway, legs.

Hmmm, can't really make heads or tails of JPN Hot Summer but I don't hate it, I'm so desperately hoping that they don't perform this live and still holding out for possible Chu remake.

Sulli is good actress no doubt, really hope she goes mainstream. Just think that dancing isn't for her
