I wanted to see him play too.

He might actually be pretty good. Considering that many games and only 3000 points, he isn't touching most of them and just playing online.

hahaha.
I got a bug playing Fable 2, and it was at one of the bigger climaxes just before the end of the game!

Read on if you've finished the game:
[bgcolor=#000000]After grouping the 3 heroes together, and moving to the centre circle getting ready to merge their powers and summon the final weapon to kill the end guy.

Well, 2 of the heroes were summoning their power... but the 3rd guy with guns just posed there doing nothing!!

Which left me stuck in the centre circle

and only being able to do expressions (like fist pumping and farting..). Stood there for another 10 minutes just in case the guy changed his mind and worked with us. no luck there.

If I was a hero in real life and running into such a scene, I think I'd cry.

Finally had to exit to dashboard, load the save and redo the scene.[/bgcolor]

I've only just recently got an Xbox 360, but no games for it as of yet.

My gamertag: DaiSazer

Only have gold for a month, then it'll go to silver.
I've only a very small number of old Xbox games, which I might still play if nothing else.
At least I can watch DVDs again, since my standalone player died some time ago.
And I can also watch a lot of the stuff I have on disc, avi's and whatnot, as well as streaming from the comp in the frontroom to my 360 to watch stuff that I've downloaded, except for anything that might have been encoded with an older codec like Divx3 LM.

Anyway, feel free to add me if anyone wants to.

So what's everyone's opinions on the new Dashboard? Better or do you prefer the older version? And what do you think of the new avatars? Obviously a Mii knockoff, but do you like them?

I would say that I like the new dashboard. I'm still getting used to where to find things with all the new features they have added (which I like). I also like the avatar thing (I kinda modeled mine after my brother) even though I don't use the pic as my gamer pic. I did have fun creating the avatar

I love the new dashboard. The look is great. The "Miis" is a cool concept if you would call it one. Best part is the copying of games to hard drive. No more loud sounds from the drive!

I just learned something today about my 360, but I figure its probably something that those who've had a 360 for a while already know.

The 360 can use any pic for a background, just as long as its a jpeg.

yup. I switched it a year ago to a pic i took of a girl with big cat hands and never changed it since.

And try linking it to a network to play media files from the PC, if you haven't, then it becomes fun~
(e.g. walking the wasteland of Fallout 3 with Darth Vader's Imperial March theme is pretty nice~)

On another note.
Like all cool/weird stuff I like, I would never get/make/try this.

New and new.. I don't know how new. But it's new as in christmas, lol. And free.

I played it through at a friends, but i haven't bought it myself. Just got Guitar Hero World Tour with the drums and everything. My gamertag is in that other thread if anyone wanna challange me in any of the GH games (except Aerosmith).

Meh, my one-month trial gold membership ended yesterday and I didn't even have time to make use of it.
What's even worse, I have the damn console now for over a month and still haven't found the time to play a single game on it. And to top this: I just found out M$ dropped the price again

Though it can be quite slow in picking up achievements. On one day it was listed I got achievements in Eternal Sonata, but I got them about 2 weeks prior to the announcement...

Watched a trailer, which actually used real in-game footage, for Lost Planet 2 on LIVE.
I've never played the first one, but the 2nd one looks like it'll be a helluva game.

The first one gets a little boring, and is basically a "how to survive in an all snow environment when aliens attack" simulator. Thankfully, Capcom is such a great dev company for the fans (let's not talk about the stupid complaints about the RE controls though), they really listened to what they wanted and we can already see that in the LP2 trailer. Looks like it's gonna be a heavy hitter, can't wait!
