I started a new fort, with the latest version, and the Phoebus tileset! I've basically found copper every single time I've mined. That would be awesome, but I accidentally started somewhere without a magma source OR a constant water supply. I have some trees, and two small ponds. Here's hoping this fort goes smoothly. Setting up some swell defensive measures to ward off invaders. Can't wait for my doctor dwarf to get some action, though :cokecat:

Started ANOTHER fortress, actually like the setup this time, especially given the volcano and brook closely positioned. Got a fishing industry rolling, and started irrigation for my farms. :thumbup

My fortress is starting to shape up now. My population doubled, to 39, with the last wave of immigrants. Almost all of them are cheesemakers or milkers, so I have plenty of cannon fodder now. I used the influx of dwarves to clear away all the stone making my fortress ugly :jerk:

Some goat decided she wanted a piece of my fortress. She triggered 3-4 stone-traps, before finally being put down by my woodcutter-turned-axedwarf.

So I decided to make a new Fortress JPH!P. Here's two screencaps for your amusement:

ronin and mal, lovers :heart::yep:

SHIT. Sorry man. You were walking over a pond when it unfroze, and there was nothing I could do  ronin throwing a party thereafter, not cool :sweatdrop:

The new fortress is going well. Stryfe functioning as the doctor has gone quite well, and he's saved several lives, including ronins. I need more dwarves though, I can't get my shit done fast enough. Haven't had any invaders yet, thankfully.

Some shots through Stonesense:

And an export of the levels of my map that I've built on so far:

I'm not planning a gigantic project dedicated to Mayuyu, not at all  :sweatdrop:

^That fort was lost :sweatdrop:

Kitarie is also a baby dwarf, the first born in my fortress. Too bad she's a legendary dwarf that I can't order around for years yet.

Most recent stats. I lost several dwarves in the first goblin amush. They ripped apart my two best-trained dwarves, sadly, because the other half of the squad had inexplicably taken the long was around to reach them. Pissed me off to the extreme, I tell you what. The two dwarves that were injured recovered speedily though, thankfully. I'm almost out of booze, didn't expect 20 immigrants in the last wave. I just now got farming running :sweatdrop:

Immediately before that amush, I had four goblin thieves attempt to sneak in through the rear entrance (which is now completely blocked). I decided to offer them up to the Volcano god. :thumbup

Also: the only wildlife in the map are alligators, and every single engraving of historial events consists of alligators killing or being killed by someone at some point.

I received a host of thieves and invaders at once, and my gigantic wall of cage-traps caught them all :sweatdrop:

Preparing some goblin death chamber.

Since the fortifications were taking to long to aid in their destruction, I opened the floodgates for a second to roast them. Some escaped through the now-destroyed fortifications.

This motherfucker just would not die.

I think I just spent two hours doing this :thumbup
