Kuriyama Chiaki’s dream comes true with new CM

Actress Kuriyama Chiaki (27) has been appointed as the new CM character for hair care brand “syoss”. On March 27th, Kuriyama attended a press conference for the brand. Kuriyama explained how her dream has come true, “I have long hair so I wondered if this day would ever come, and when it did I was so happy.”

Okada Keisuke of MasudaOkada and Kinoshita Takayuki of TKO were also in attendance. Kinoshita caused a bit of laughter with one of his comments, “My ideal girl is someone with long black hair and the surname of Kuriyama.”

Watched the first episode of ATARU. I have to admit, it's better than expected. Might be better than KagiHeya in some ways. And I really liked Kuriyama's character. She's so funny and looks pretty too. Also, Kuriyama's doing many detective roles recently (Himitsu Chohoin Erika, SPEC~Ten, ATARU). I like that

Indeed Chiaki working with Riina Shingo does make sense, both iconoclastic artists.
