This interview was dope. Hearing stories and how they feel as fathers in rap was worth the watch.

picked up 2 copies of Tetsuo & youth today. 1 for my nephew and 1 for myself. Really enjoy a lot of it, some's not quite my speed but nothing I didn't like at all.

^ Apparently you get another experience if you listen to it backwards. Like in reverse order, not like listening to Led Zeppelin songs backwards

Lupe drops a video for Just Might Be Okay. FOOD & LIQUOR!

9 years to drop, but just on time. It's relevant to all the stuff going down in Baltimore.

An Oakland sports team just won a championship on 2pac's birthday.

(yes, I prefer the remix, it sounds more like a true "west coast" song than the original)

New Czarface album. Every Hero Needs a Villain. So Good.
Reminds me of Old School MF DOOM albums. And DOOM is a feature on it! Including Meth, GZA, Juju, R.A The Rugged Man, Large Pro, etc.

FORT MINOR IS BACK! :w00t:

I've always been disappointed to see Linkin Park mostly abandon their hip hop side after the second album, especially since their music is usually better when leaning towards hip hop, so I definitely appreciate Mike making an apology song for leaving us Fort Minor fans hanging after all these years. Though it's kinda funny that the piano melody is yet another "infamous four pop chords" progression.

Also surprising is that this video actually has an interactive 360 camera! Seriously, load it up in Chrome and click on the circle of arrows in the corner...or better yet, view the video via the official YouTube app on your smartphone for gyroscope controls!

You can download the song for free from the official Fort Minor website:
http://www.fortminor.com/cleo/download/index.html
It even comes in WAV format for all you audiophiles!

I was wonderin' when Mike Shinoda was gonna come out with more shit.  Anyways, Rockstar never ceases to get some good tracks in their games, especially this one:

RIP #EazyE i remember time and place when I heard da news he died man. just tunin into da Rap City after school fuuuuck.

anybody watch / wanna review Straight Outta Compton? love @ 0:23 Yella comes in. whatta influence they had, my fave west coast collective. Cube always been my fave rapper.

It was a dope watch. You had a feel for where and why and all dem sound bites and rumours fell into place, like Eazy-E being forced to release Dre. How Fuck Da Police was written. Eazy-E's Jason Mitchell actor def gonna win da Oscar. havin E reminiscing on old times, admiring Dre's Chronic Billboard, kickin it with Cube just before he got to the hospital with AIDS. Dem Brotherhood was touching. Imagine what kinda music they  coulda did if they stuck together but Yella is right, you gotta take time do yo thing and come back BIGGER than ever before. Shit is huge. Course you got Dre and Cube as heavyweights in da industry now but with all dem whiteboyz in da audience going WESTSSSIIIDDDE you gotta know N.W.A is more than just about curse words and graphic violence and sex on records. It's a fuckin cultural phenomenon dat u best respect.

If there's any takeaway - it almost explained TOO much, I get where they goin with Aftermath and redemption - but I would loved to see more N.W.A creation processes. Why was Just don't Bite it written  MC Ren and Yella's stories should got some attention, I can see why Ren complained lol. Yella coulda had a "Hey! I'm gonna direct porn" sidebar. Even some Warren G

They totally should do a MCU style hip hop universe movies with 2Pac Bio and dem playing Wu-Tang in da club where Eazy and Cube met could lead to like a real good ODB angle

DEEP SHIT...

and if you love Wu-Tang they back on tour on my coast. EDMONTON!! LEt's GO: http://www.unionevents.com/event/932765-wu-tang-clan-guests-edmonton/

different venue. here's to mics not muting Inspectach Deck like last year. I don't give a fuck with Meth and Rae don't show up, just get good sound quality lol
