The group started a nationwide handshake meeting tour on November 3rd in Yokohama where they announced that their first album will be coming out on January 7th but there's no title for it yet. Also the group made another announcement that they'll be playing three X-Mas concerts at the Tokyo Ariake Coliseum from December 12th to the 14th.

Covers for the group's first album "Tomuei na Iro" which comes out on January 7th, there's going to be three versions:

Type A- 2 CDs and a DVD, 26 songs that includes 6 new songs plus 2013 Summer Tour digest DVD.

Type B- 2 CDs, 26 songs, same as the above CD.

Type C- 1 CD, 13 songs, first 10 singles plus 3 new songs.

The "Tomuei na Iro" album^ in it's first week out sold 222,000+ copies.

Few of the members are in a video promoting Baseball/Softball for the Tokyo Olympics, they don't come in until the 32 second mark but the whole video is worth watching as it features too many Japanese celebs to count in it.

Though Mai is heartbroken as "Nogizakatte, Doko?" just aired it's final show....

.... it's really not the end as it's really just changing it's name to "Nogizaka Under Construction"(乃木坂工事中), the only difference being each episode will focus on one member. Nogizaka46 Members Star in Theater Adaptation of “Joshiraku” Manga Series

Nogizaka46 are hitting the stage to star in a play based on the popular Joshiraku Manga series which had also spawned an animated series.

Japanese girl group Nogizaka46 are set to star in Joshiraku a series created by writer Kouji Kumeta and illustrator Yasu. The story follows the lives of five young rakugo performers, a Japanese style of one-man show where a performer recites a story often featuring a large array of characters, whose casting from the pop idol group was subjected to an open vote only weeks ago.

The roles of the girls; Marii Buratei, Kigurumi Haroukitei, Tetora Bouhatei, Gankyou Kurubiyutei, and Kukuru Anrakutei, were triple-casted from Nogizaka46 in order to accommodate as much of the ensemble as possible. Joshiraku is set to run at the AiiA Theater Tokyo from June 18 – 28.
