Yea, I heard that too. I didn't realize it was such a big deal. I guess it's a line from Amore Pacific which is the biggest cosmetic company in Korea. They usually pick the biggest Korean Wave drama stars as their models, only other kpop stars to do it were SES a long time ago. Apparently models are not picked based on looks but image and character so it's a big honor to become an Amore model.
