If I had any chance of making OPVs, I'd make an "Aichan in Morning Musume" themed graduation video to Lady Gaga's The Edge of Glory (random idea I had this morning). Especially using Guy-chan for the "I need a man who..." line.
Unfortunately I can't make OPVs, so I made a ~beautiful~ fanart instead!!

You've been on my mind all day, even though I had other things to do. You trump all of them by a long shot.

Anyway...

お誕生日おめでとう、高橋愛ちゃん!!!!

Solo celebration time? I've already been doing that for the past two years.

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER - her best buddy from China takes some time for a bilingual blog entry commemoration.

And of course greetings from the soon-to-be senior lead singer of the group, Reina.

I really wish I could be there on the 30th to see her off...but perhaps it's for the best since it might be a bit too much for me to handle.

It's kinda funny how when I first started taking interest in Morning Musume that I had to accept that all the members I initially took an interest in had all left the group by the time I started paying attention...and now I'll have to deal with similar feelings once again come October. But just as I adapted to the '07-'10 lineup in short order, I'm sure I can adapt to the post-Ai era as well, especially since she's leaving the group in good hands. And as for her, her immense talent and professionalism means plenty of doors are wide open for her to do whatever she wants, and as long as she stays in the spotlight I'll be watching out for her. Please don't let that killer singing voice go to waste!

Wishing a very happy birthday to Aichan, who has been a force of pure positivity since bursting on the scene as a new member of Morning Musume. Her sincerity, her accent (which seemed to amuse all of those city folk), her ability to laugh at herself, her great dancing, and a truly incredible voice, her maniacal man screams, her tears at anyone else's graduation, and so many more wonderful talents and attributes.
