Bavaria's most glamorous politician -- a flame-haired motorcyclist who helped bring down state premier Edmund Stoiber -- has shocked the Catholic state in Germany by suggesting marriage should last just 7 years. Hey, those are just her views, it's good to shake up the status quo.
If things don't evolve and adapt, they'll end up dieing out.

But, as usual, there will always be the old guard who are very obstinate and stubborn, who will look down their nose on new and "radical" ideas, simply because they're afraid of change.

The whole "Marriage ending after 7 years" thing is different, but some marriages don't even make it that far nowadays.
Marriage tends to be a disposable commodity in this day and age.
