渡り廊下走り隊7、アニメ『クレしん』主題歌に決定
　アイドルグループ・AKB48の派生ユニット・渡り廊下走り隊7の新曲「希望山脈」（11月30日発売）が、人気アニメ『クレヨンしんちゃん』（テレビ朝日系　毎週金曜19：30）のオープニングテーマに起用されたことが20日、わかった。人気アニメとのコラボレーションにメンバーの渡辺麻友は「私が子供の頃から大好きでずっと見ている『クレヨンしんちゃん』のオープニングを歌わせて頂けると聞いたときは、本当に嬉しかったです」と喜んだ。

　1992年4月に放送がスタートしたアニメ『クレヨンしんちゃん』は、今年20周年を迎える国民的人気アニメ。オープニングテーマに起用された「希望山脈」は、名曲「青い山脈」のような昭和50～60年代を彷彿させる昭和歌謡テイストとなっており、“日本みんなへの応援歌”をテーマにした「希望を持って生きよう！」という前向きな楽曲。番組プロデューサーも「渡り廊下走り隊7としんのすけの世界が合体すると、どんな曲になるのだろうという期待感が大きかったです。みんなで楽しめる、今までのしんのすけには無い新しい曲が出来上がりました」と太鼓判を押す。

　また、渡り廊下走り隊7らしいコミカルなダンスとなっており、菊地あやかは「歌も踊りもすごく簡単なので、いつも私たちを応援してくれている皆さんから、小さなお子さんまで一緒に手を取り合って、肩を組んで一緒に踊ってくれると嬉しいです」と期待を寄せる。

　渡り廊下走り隊7が歌うオープニングテーマは、11月4日の放送から登場する

Sub-group contributes "Kibō Sanmyaku," which will premiere in November 4 episode

Watarirouka Hashiritai 7, a sub-group of the all-female idol group AKB48, will contribute the song "Kibō Sanmyaku" (Hope Mountains) as the new opening theme song of the Crayon Shin-chan television anime series. The song will premiere with the episode airing on November 4.

Mayu Watanabe, a self-professed anime fan and a member of Watarirouka Hashiritai 7, said that she always watched the anime when she was little, so she was really overjoyed when she heard that her group will sing its opening theme song.

The television anime is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year. "Kibō Sanmyaku" is a song in the tradition of hopeful, spirit-lifting Showa-era songs of the 1975-1995 era, such as "Aoi Sanmyaku" (Blue Mountains).

The song will later go on sale on November 30. Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 (and its previous incarnation Watarirouka Hashiritai) contributed theme songs for both Fairy Tail and Blue Dragon: Tenkai no Shichi Ryū.

The girls all look fantastic in the PV. It's like they know red/white is my favorite color combination.

As reported previously, Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 will be releasing a new single titled “Kibou Sanmyaku” on November 30th, and the details for the upcoming single have been revealed. 

The title track is currently being used as the opening theme song for anime “Crayon Shin-chan.”

To celebrate the release of the new single, Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 will hold a handshake event in Tokyo, Aichi, and Osaka.  The handshake event in Tokyo will be held on December 3rd at Yomiuri Land’s open theater EAST where many idols have performed before.

Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 caught me delighted from the first time I heard them- the emphasis on folk or traditional sounds has always been pleasing, and dayum.....those girls are growing up to be beatiful young woman, deshou.....

On December 3rd, AKB48 sub-unit Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 held their release commemoration event for their latest single, “Kibou Sanmyaku”, at Yomiuri Land in Inagi, Tokyo.

Although it was raining, all 7 girls made a lively appearance in red and white Santa dresses. The energy on set got an additional boost thanks to a cameo from Crayon Shin-chan himself, whose animated series will be using “Kibou Sanmyaku” as its theme song.

Member Watanabe Mayu (17) commented, “Although it rained, we had so much fun that the rain eventually blew away.” The girls also mentioned their upcoming appearance on Kohaku Uta Gassen, and they expressed, “We will do our best to perform in front of large crowd.”

It's a bit disappointing that they didn't reach any of the first week targets, nor broke 100K. This means they had a great first day, but a weak run for the rest of the week.
