Don't you think it's about time Aki-P makes a new season? Even though it seems *almost impossible, I know we're all still daydreaming about a MJSK4.
I think it can be done, you just gotta dig deep for ideas. I've seen and heard a lot of people exchange ideas about it. Where it could take place, who the characters would be, even a continuation of season 3.
I honestly don't know what's going to happen, but if I could, I would join AKB staff and be on the market for making a season 4 any day.
Thought we could talk or share ideas. So, please, feel free.

To be honest, I on't really mind any story line as long as the plot is good. I think MG Season 2 had a very great potential and the plot was not predictable (we thought we were gonna get Acchan Shibuya fight but we didn't, and no one knew even after 5 episodes that she was gonna get busted). Yes maybe the triplets idea was not the best but I am biased so I liked it XD GEKI was epic, more of GEKI would be so awesome :wub:
I think MG4 could be either a few years after the happenings in MG2 or well...MG3 continuation? or a totslly new story line, I really don't mind. As long as the plot is good :)

Yeah, I agree with you, Sakura-chan. You have to create a plot that'll be worth going along with. Something that interests you and the viewers.
Plus, since they already changed the story when it got to season 3, I think it's pretty pointless to try and go back again.
If there was a continuation, I wonder how they would play out the setting since they solved the mystery and everything.
Plus, there are a lot of newer, fresh members that they can add in. Like Mako and Nana. They can probably still add people from previous seasons in for some new role's sake, and it'd be cool to see how they can portray it.
Cuz as we know, MJSK brings out a whole new side to idols!

I'd totally love a MG4 to come around. It wouldn't matter if they picked it up from MG2 or MG3 or had a new story. :)
Perfect scenario would be continuing from the ending in MG3 and have them meet MG 1/2 characters. People like all-star themes. And Gekikara. :heart:
Then throw in some new-gen like the musketeers against a 'show fight' tomu boss and I'm pumped. :D
Too much fanservice? Yeah, its probably not gonna happen. :sweatdrop:
I'm sure MG has helped a lot of people to become akb fans, in jp and overseas.
A lot of us hunted live feeds to watch when it aired. What jap drama do you remember that had that effect. :lol:
It has skipped a year though. And Sailor Zombie is airing now. So I don't think it'll happen soon.
At least it means tv tokyo are still good for making akb dramas. Good sign there. Still, its up to them if they want to do it.
But yeah. Hope they announce something this year. Those fanfics need more fuel. :)

^^Alright then, Winner-san, you've given me an idea for a game.
Tell me the ideas you would want for MJSK4 just for fun. For example, I saw one post that said if there was a 4th season, it would take place in an asylum and they'd try to break out.
Now, that sounds crazy and cool.
I wonder what ideas everyone has. Feel free to share with me and everyone else.

In my case, I really didn't like the prison atmosphere that much. I prefer to go back to a school or something new like a space station or maybe a prequel in Edo times :panic:

A space drama would be over budget for any night-drama. They'd have to CG a background for the whole thing, or have a really boring white room.
An Edo theme is kinda interesting. Kinda magnifying out Nogi46's Tsuki no Ookisa MV into a story. To film more easily, maybe use edo-type charas in a modern setting (e.g. like the live-action Fuma no Kojiro).
The asylum breakout might be a little like Joker Game Escape.

Just take away the 'torture room' acid traps/clue-searching, and add a bunch of fistfights. Do-able, but I think this resembles the theme of MG3 too much. And honestly, the detention center setting wasn't the best change for the show. The battle arena was great, but it came up way too late and wasn't used nearly enough. They should pretty much stay away from this.
As in my previous post. I hope they continue from the ending of MG3. With the girls trying to survive in the city. And meeting/challenging the MG1/MG2 characters, linking up the 2 universes.
Its got the "Majisuka Gakuen" title, so they should wear school uniforms again (i can easily come up with 12 unnecessary storyline-reasons off the top of my head). And they'll be learning life lessons on the streets. So it totally fits the "gakuen" theme... more than a detention center at least.
Its easy for us to come up with crazy ideas with our imagination though, totally different story when its the guys that are actually thinking it up and filming it.
The strongest point of MG is the build up of each member's character. And I think they do a great job with this. So the setting really doesn't really matter that much.

I'd definetly love a Majisuka 4, I really loved those shows, the most interesting AKB ever did drama wise for sure. I don't think they would continue S03 if they did actually make a new one though, it would probably go back to the school setting or be something completely new.
They already did the "fight for the top" and also "fighting other schools". Even internal struggle when people lose respect for the top which I haven't seen in any other similar show (Crows Zero, Sugarless, Bad Boys J etc).

The New Series of Majisuka Gakuen has finally announced!
Majisuka Gakuen 4 will air on January 2015 from Tokyo TV to Nippon TV(NTV).
They announced that they will transfer to that TV Network for the favor of people to broadcast of the show nationwide.

AKB48's drama 'Majisuka Gakuen' to return in January
November 28, 2014
It's been revealed that AKB48's drama series 'Majisuka Gakuen' will return to the small screen after two and a half years. The new series, 'Majisuka Gakuen 4', will broadcast on NTV starting in January of next year.
'Majisuka Gakuen' is an action-packed school drama where the girls of AKB48 take on the roles of delinquents. In the previous seasons, Maeda Atsuko (seasons 1 and 2) and Shimazaki Haruka (season 3) played the leads.
The new cast and storyline are scheduled to be revealed on January 2. The drama's official website features a countdown until the announcement date.

Also, news says that the premiere for "Majisuka Gakuen 4" will be broadcast on January 19th, 2015 on TV, and the casting will be revealed on January 2nd.

I have one theory for Mako's(and I'll freak if it's right! XD):
My theory is that her character's name will be Niko(like 'nikori' or smile), because she'll always smile and put on a cute face to trick her opponents before beating them up. Her backstory probably be that something terrible happened to her in the past and she lost her reason to truly smile.
Sound a bit much? :sweatdrop: (lol)
Just a theory. (Plus, I really hope either Mako or Naanya get the lead role. :cathappy: :deco: So excited!) Anyone else got some?

Are the casting members finalise?
Is this MG4 the continuous of MG3 or new separate story?
If its not, I hope takamina, Haruna, Miichan, Yuki and Mayu would be there.
I hope to see more of the original members since their appearances were cut more since most of their shows showed the new members more often nowadays.
Especially, now that takamina is graduating soon, she's been in background more often since she became GM.

Milky will be Tsurishi (Fisher ;) ) for obvious reasons. She'd charm enemies into submission. Her backstory would be that she was abused and she has no intention of being the bubbly person she once was. And then whoever the main character is will make her realise that life is much more than that~

There may be a reason why Otabe is still here. We'll just have to see. :3
For Naanya's role, she said in an interview that she was called "Zombie" because even if she gets knocked down, she keeps getting back up like its nothing. Like she's a zombie. XD (Of course, it's a reference to Sailor Zombie.)

Since the MG formula traditionally has extra characters showing up during the run. There's definitely a chance for more 48-group girls showing up.

Yui says Otabe kept repeating and repeating, and getting angry from it.
That's why everyone has the new white collar uniform, while she's still wearing the old uniform from MG2.

Yea, during the special, the director came and said he would choose one of the girls in the studio to create a character in the show, and he chose Maachun. There are said to be 6 other members(possible "hidden characters") that are acting, as well.

nerf is a gaming term where the character(s) ability being downgraded by the developer usualy to balanced the game
take gekikara for example, we know how crazy and violent she was on MG, but on MG2 she became softer...and I hope that not gonna happen to my beloved Otabe here...but we'll see

I'm glad they're following the same MG formula so closely. Makes it a little nostalgic for MG viewers.
Both episodes so far have been pretty solid. Team Hinabe and KamiZombie both getting jokes and serious scenes in nicely. :heart:
Sakura has already got that Maeda maji-ness down. She'll do great.
Salt is my fave. Actually, I pretty much decided she would be just by seeing her look in the preview scenes of that preview special. She just looked damn awesome.
The way she talks every line like she's gonna lose her breath. The cold aura she has. Character build-up with all those lonely lines. Ultimately powerful and hoping for a coming rival in "Here's a new Challenger" Sakura. She's perfect as a leader of Rappapa.
That scene with Salt and Sakura at the start of ep2. Damn Classic~ :bow: :bow: :bow:
Considering the current speed. Sakura should clear all Four Queens by the middle of this show, if its one vs each episode.
Wonder if the remaining half will turn into MG2 themed, where Rapappa and Co. is on the defense against Sayanee and her nurses. Hopefully Sayanee gets extra firepower with some cool SKE/NMB/HKT bad-guy characters to balance it up. At least some real drama and action vs Rappapa before it ends.
Just 2 episodes in and I'm already dreaming stuff up... :P I'll actually be more than happy just watching the coming vs Four Queens unfold. :D

I have been wondering about 'Minami' here.
Who and How is she related to the other MG1-2?
Well Scandal, Torigoya and Otabe somehow related to the MG1 or MG2 or Both... but "MINAMI"????
Here they said she is graduated Maji-jo... and her 'Maji' got broken somehow...
Would there be some flashback here and there about 'Minami' past or she would just be there for few minute each episode to encourage Sakura to aim for the top?
And also Otabe... how can she was still at school after 2 years
If I am not wrong when I watched MG2, they said that Otabe was top student academically, so there was no way for her to be failing her exams or something.
What is the reason for her to stay in Maji-jo...? Unless its still her promise to Atsuko to protect Maji-jo somehow.
Can't wait to be clarify on some stuffs

Minami went to school with Acchan while undercover as a student and faking her death in MG1, turning back into a cop in MG2, then retired and got her own restaurant in MG4. :lol:
In reality. Its simply to have Takamina on the show. :D
No need to be too serious about the continuity. Unlike Scandal, Torigoya etc. who are clearly the same characters as in MG1/2, should just treat her as a totally separate character unless stated otherwise by her. Its just easy filming her and Sakura scenes in one location, for the whole show in one day, and splitting them through the show. So I don't expect them to go into detail with flashbacks. Let the viewers think what they want.
As for Otabe. Stop asking unless you want her to give you a visit, push her fingers up your nose and mess up your brain real good too. XD

All the power to the staff of the show and Paruru herself for pulling it off so well. :wub:
But its still only 2 episodes in. Most of the main cast haven't even done anything yet. :lol:
And considering MG's track record, some of the coolest characters only began their appearance halfway through the show. Girls like Gekikara Annin, Nobunaga, etc...
There's definitely room for us to expect some nice surprises. :)

Pretty good fight though although the concept behind the next one will be the opposite of Yoga, who used deception and defensive maneuvering.
The development will probably switch over soon enough although Salt's perception was pretty much spot on. The fear is primarily where she can see how far Sakura can go with Otabe :thumbsup

こんばんは！
ついに！マジすか学園、クランクアップしました！！！
本当に本当にマジすか学園に出会えて良かった。さくらという役が出来て良かった。メンバー、そして周りのスタッフさんたちに、感謝でいっぱいです。
メンバーからは、さくらの好きなお菓子買ってきたよって私の好きなお菓子を突然買ってきてくれたり、かわいいアクセサリーを、さくらは頑張ってるからプレゼントねってプレゼントしてくれたり、、、
私が倒れちゃった時も、先輩方が大丈夫だよ大丈夫だよって側にいてくれて。
このドラマをきっかけにメンバーとも仲良しになれ、私のことを常に支えてくれました。
本当にありがとうございました。
そして、スタッフさんたちには、本当に感謝しています。
最初の台本読みの時、緊張ガチガチの私に沢山指導してくれて。
練習期間の時はアクション部さんが熱心に運動が苦手な私にアクションを教えてくれて。
撮影中、面白い話で笑わせてくれて、寒い日が続くとストーブやお菓子をいっぱい用意してくださって。
私は沢山色んなことをしてもらっていてました。
そんな温かいスタッフさんたちへの一番の恩返しは、良い芝居をすること。
しっかり恩返しを出来ていたかは、分からないけれど、クランクアップの時、さくらは成長したって言ってもらえたことが何より嬉しかったです。
撮影期間、思い出しただけで涙でいっぱいです。本当にこのマジすか期間は、壮絶でした。
でも、マジすかを乗り越えて一回り成長できた気がします。
耐える力、すぐに理解する対応力、
人の心情を考える力、集中力…。
お芝居には、たくさんのことが必要でした。そして、今私はまだ勉強中。
沢山のことを吸収して、成長していきたいと思います。

これから沢山色んなことがマジすか学園4には待っています。

The reveal of new enemy characters begins. I'm glad its Shiroma and Fuuko.
I did say I wanted to see a crazy Fuuko character, from the Ambulance PV. So I guess this is the closest its going to get.
Pretty much surely going to have more new enemy charas show up, since there's a few more episodes left.
So just add Kodama and Tashima into the mix already. :lol:

while maeda's path : hormone -> kabuki -> gakuran -> sanshou -> choukoku -> shitenou :bingo:

well, I don't think so...if we look back to s1 --this season more or less have similiarity with s1-- maeda's part was longer than sakura...
sakura's path was just : hinabe -> kamisori-zombie -> shitenou (yoga, bakamono, magic)
while maeda's path : hormone -> kabuki -> gakuran -> sanshou -> choukoku -> shitenou :bingo:

I don't mind if they lenthen it to the end with those 2, and any others. But I really hope they don't cut off the Sakura vs Otabe fight.
I was hoping Otabe to have some vs action in MG2 and was totally disappointed. And with the happenings of ep6, the chances of it happening again in MG4 just rose way up. :(
Don't make Otabe only fight some random losers on the last episode again... :bow:

girl who urged them to get serious about something, anything, rather
than wasting their potential.
Sakura said leave, you have no chance! But the two first year students
believed in a fair fight, despite taking a multitude of blows and kicks that would soon
be life threatening if something didn't happen to change this battle scene.
Sakura stared at the two young underling wannabes, and she wasn't
Trying to get them to leave because they were bothering her, she was trying to
protect them out of respect for their bravery.
And Magic made the mistake that would cost her the fight and more-
she made fun of girls that she was soundly defeating, belittling them as
Not being serious enough to worry about.
Sakura called Magic on her lack of respect shown to the two young battlers,
And knew that she must make a super human effort to get free and to take out
Magic. This time her motivation was not to take out the Queens to get to Salt,
This time it was about protecting her comrades' lives and honor, because they deserved
the respect that their bravery earned them.
A really fine scene, thanks to all of the actresses and script writers!!!

For Sakura it is more a liability in how Daruma was for Atsuko
Although, she believes that she should see them as allies rather than take her under her wings, Team Hinabe has that respect in which they'll fight for Sakura. However, I wonder where Gekioko can stand with two of their group(s) being defeated. Although I predict that the three (Zakoboss Tsurishi and KY) will get used how Kurobara and Shirogiku were sent in.
Although the Otabe and Sakura fight will be epic. However, I do think Sakura will learn to not cock back the arm to defeat Otabe (for how this story goes :roll:) and the surprise attack of Gekioko :nervous

most possibe would be Black&Gekikara would show up...but to think again, I guess they have a valid reason(s) for not show up...aside from they already settle down somewhere--yes, I'm a BlackGeki shipper...Black have her child to think of while Geki, I think after Yuko passed away and she had fulfill her promise she have nothing to do with yankee life again...
as for Otabe, IF she's still her old self Sakura won't stand a chance...but from what I've watched so far, Otabe had become weaker--either she hide her true power like before or they nerf her character like what I've been feared--than her old self...and if my hunch is right she'll somehow will let Sakura win without hurting her pride to beat each Queen before finally have a showdown with Salt :bigdeal:

Honestly, B. I want it now! Gimme gimme gimme! :P I really hope Otabe is just as strong as I remember. I wish that Otabe would beat Sakura, then Sakura would improve and beat her in a later episode, but I don't have much hope that that will actually happen. I really want Gekikara, Black, and Torigoya to reappear during the battle with Gekiko and beat the s*** out of everyone. Is that too much to ask? :P

Seeing Otabe in a one-on-one fight at last... after waiting so many years! :heart:
It wasn't as flashy as I had hoped, like the fights with the other queens.
Just raw exchanging of punches and kicks, seeing who had more stamina. But it soon turned more into a battle of determination, which was cool.
I'm just glad they didn't skip her again, like MG2. :bow:

following the pattern of MG1&2 where the challenger finally reach the top, I guess sakura will also have the same fate as maeda and center unless the writer decide to make a surprise--which have little chance to be real :bigdeal:

My expectations were pretty much met for the Otabe fight. She went in stubborn with the plan which was pretty much what was expected but the twist could be more with Gekioko deciding to attack when Salt and Sakura are having their fight which either one leaves whoever is left to versus Antonio or the full on attack which basically just suits Antonio and Salt with Sakura taking on Kobii
Although I prefer a Otabe vs Kobii fight
Something to consider
KY vs Yoga
Bakamono vs. Zakoboss
Magic vs. Tsurishi
Team Hinabe and Zombie & Kamisori will probably take down the underlings
Plot twist: Antonio figures out Kobii sent the two and throws everything onto her XD

I like the plot twist :on GJ: but seeing Antonio's expression after Kobii's words, it seems like she already guess who the culprit was...the question is will she do something about that or not :bingo:
how about a triple threat Salt-Antonio-Sakura...with that Otabe can take on Kobii :kekeke:
anyway, this is what I have for the ending:
on Majijo vs Gekioko final all out war, Antonio finally able to settle her old grudge against Salt.
Sakura become Majijo's new top after Salt entrusted the position to her.
With Sakura as the new top, Salt then set out on a journey to fight the yakuzas--where she found a new hobby of eating flower petal after each fight.
Salt keep on fighting the yakuzas until she fell into the trap set by Minami the Waitress--an undercover double agent works for the police and yakuza--and being sent to Prison Hope which lead to her death when she tried to escape from the place...

Seeing that Sakura is now beginning to open up and trust Zombie, Kamisori, and team Hinabe, and how Salt has treated the loyalty
of the Queens quite poorly, somehow even if Salt wins, she loses....
Salt learns to respect Sakura, because Sakura has built her team,and her team has built Sakura.
It will all play out when Antonio is betrayed some how by Kobii, which leads to Nurse school being defeated, because Salt now fights
side by side with the Queens and Sakura, Team Hinabe, and the most beautiful underlings in the world.....
Salt is so moved by learning how mutual respect and trust are far more powerful than ennui and contempt, that she decides to
tryout for an idol group, and is successful in passing the lucky 13 Generation
tryout for Morning Musume......
One last twist....Takamina has a colleague working in
in the kitchen, who is revealed in the last episode to be Maeda san.....the two were married in Massachusetts while attending
Culinary School in the U.S. and have returned to Japan with the goal of
Working their way up to having a top gourmet restaurant in Omotesando.....
Also in the last episode, two little truants from Fukuoka are forced by
court order to attend Majisuka Gakuen.....and trouble starts all over....

That Triple Threat and vs fights are basically the stuff I wanted for MG3. Man, I'd love it if they did some of those types of decisive battles this time. :thumbsup
Honestly I don't have much hope for it happening. But the show has been more focused in the fights this round, so I guess it isn't totally impossible.
The past seasons were like a real letdown in this area. They pretty much go out of their way to make the boss fight not happen. I guess you could debate that they want to keep the main character/s "undefeated" so it won't hurt the fans' feelings.

Salt is going to have such a busy schedule.
First she needs to take out Kobii's goons. Then Kobii would naturally want some jabujabu-time.
Antonio then jumping in like a hungry tiger. I can already picture her greeting Salt, nibbling on her ear. Not fight though cos its unfair.
And then there's that new kid Sakura. Sakura loses, does some crazy old-fashioned training with KamiZombie to level up {insert Rocky theme here}. Rematch.
Last episode Salt vs Antonio. While Sakura takes down Gekioko... I don't mean Antonio's gang...
Yes, Sakura is literally going to punch that Gekioko School building down!

Milky starting it up was ok. Nothing surprising, but it does make a change of pace.
Got some jabujabu-time. And Salt actually doing some fighting. So can't complain too much.
Salt taking on Gekioko's 2nd without breaking a sweat, after downing a dozen goons . Man, how OP is her character.
On the other hand, it totally sucks.
Just like Gekikara in MG2. They have an ultra-strong chara, and they take her out with a "non-fight".
I'd rather the story had panned out where Salt and Sakura teamed up against Gekioko in a straight vs. We've only seen Salt do like 5 punches. I wanted to see more SALT in the final episodes!

Two shout outs.....
Sakura, she has really shown some great stoicism in this role... From bow legged girl who runs kind of funny to
a dramatic performance that is showing quite some pro nuance, my hat is off to this talented young lady!
Background music - really setting the mood here- Japanese episodic drama can be somewhat predictable, but the talent in all of the supporting areas, such as the soundtrack in this show, are very top notch, and makes for great watching!

Episode 8 and 9 were sooo perfect! Everyone being so lovey dovey and realizing the power of friendship was cute haha~ Rappappa, Hinabe x KamiZombie x Sakura , AnKobii .. too much love.
That Salt/Antonio fight was the best fight I ever seen in that season, HOW FLAWLESS WAS ANTONIO!! And All Gekio was screaming to cheer her up .. I mean, I like Majijo but Gekioko is such a big family under Antonio nee-san's watch ... aah, emotions.
