MMJ are an idol group based in Hiroshima.
The girls themselves are big AKB48 fan. They started out as an AKB dance group, called MMJ48 but have since dropped the 48 part and now have their own songs. Whilst they still perform AKB dances they have become idols in their own right.
There are a total of 16 members. Not all members perform at every event due to schedules many girls have jobs, the others are still in school.
