Ever since she broke out in 2001 with that catchy Jarvis Church produced shit, she's been crossing over in hip hop and beyond. Now with a baby and more hips, she's gonna blow up AGAIN! Born December 2, 1978, she is a Canadian-Portuguese.

I believe she's not just Portuguese-Canadian, but part East Indian as well. I remember her singing some Punjabi on the MTV Europe Music awards one year, but just a quick sample when she was presenting. I mean, look at the gorgeous complexion on her, THAT's East Indian for sure.

Canadian J.Lo? Isn't that a little too much? I don't think she's as popular as J.Lo. I'm not a fan of J.Lo but I don't think Nelly measures up quite to be called the "Canadian J.Lo"
