After a lot of messing around over the last couple weeks I think I finally found a setup that works for me. The only thing I still have to test is to make sure that my cron job runs correctly. Finally have everything working correctly though, so even if it doesn't I'll just launch the script manually at the appropriate time this morning and then figure out why it didn't run later.

In other words, my first show since the radio came back should be on the air in about 6 hours. Now I'm off to get some sleep quick.

"Headphones on Your Heart" is one of the top contenders for my favorite song of last year. And the problem with having a lot of a genre to choose from is you get fixated on your favorite artists and end up doing 2-3 songs from each of them rather than really hit a large variety ^^;;; Still, I think I managed to hit a decent variety of the different 8bit styles out there. Didn't go too much into the 8bit breakcore stuff, since I don't think most people are ready for that first thing in the morning.

Also, late reply to daigong:
Glad you liked it. There's a whole Boss On Parade album + remix album by DJ TECHNORCH if you really liked his stuff. Unless it was just Aural Vampire's mix you liked, in which case hit their Vampire Ecstacy album. And if you like J-core in general, hit up Sows or Doujincore for more.

Entire show is remixes of the Lucky Star theme Motteke! Sailor Fuku. This song was by far the most remixed one out there last year. You had 11 official remixes plus another dozen ones by all the J-core, doujin, and speed trance acts. I finally gave into the urge and just did a set of nothing but them (*^^*ゞ

Early post! I've turned into a social butterfly lately, and of course the night before my radio show is routinely the busiest. Nothing like preparing it ~4 hours before it airs v(｡･ω･｡)ｨｪｨ♪

Show is simply a mix of what I've been listening to for the last couple weeks. Haven't had any time to spend on my computer to actually add my new stuff into my collection, so as a result the acquisitions from 2-4 weeks ago have been listened to rather heavily and weeded down to this. Sadly, I was unable to fit in any Kashiwa Daisuke. The stuff is beautiful, but taking up half of a one hour show with a single track seems a bit excessive.
