Chapter 23Giving in to Ai’s advances, Risa pulled haphazardly at her own coat, trying to remove it quickly without breaking her very pleasurable kiss with Ai.
“Let me!”
Reina lunged at Risa and tore at her clothes with so much vigor that the other two were stunned for a moment.
“What?! We’ve only got 20 minutes.”
Reina stated as a matter-of-factly.
"Wait! Reina's
joining in?"
Risa pulled at Reina's arms which were halted in their process and the yankee wasn't afraid to show her unhappiness. Reina wasn't a happy camper when it came to such interuptions.
"Of course I am. Right Ai-chan?"
The sly smile on Reina's face told Risa all she needed to know.
"Okay... so since I've been kept out of the loop so long, this better be good."
"Oh it
will be. I promise. And I'm sure Ai-chan will be glad to help me."
The only sounds emerging from the carriage hanging in the sky after that weren’t coherent at all.
A line was already forming at the base of the Ferris wheel waiting for the ride to start up once more. The operator grinned and patted his trouser pocket lightly, happy to be 10,000 yen richer.
[Elsewhere in the Park]
“Where did they go? They were just behind us a minute ago.”
Asami turned her head in various directions trying to catch sight of the missing threesome. It was nearing evening time and the park was beginning to fill up with people.
“They probably ran off somewhere to have a little
fun.”
“Ah.”
Asami smiled lightly, she fully understood the hidden meaning behind what Makoto had implied.
“Gaki and Ai-chan I understand. But Reina too?”
“Haven’t you noticed something’s up between those three?”
Makoto reached for Konno’s hand and pulled her along when she began walking, trying to locate any eatery that served appetizing food.
“Reina has been hanging around Gaki-san much more lately. But it’s really unexpected. I’d always thought it would be…”
“Kamei?”
“You read my mind Mako-chan.”
Asami giggled softly at Makoto’s quip. Her laughter sounded like wind chimes made to sound by a gentle breeze and composed a beautiful melody with the birds chirping in the distance.
“That’s because I’m your soul mate KonKon.”
Makoto couldn’t resist rubbing Asami’s chubby cheeks between her hands that had grown bright red from her ‘soul mate’ comment.
“I love it when you get shy.”
Asami looked down at the ground and shuffled her feet. She bashfully looked up again to gaze at Makoto and admired her profile silently as the other girl read the menu of the restaurant they were standing outside of.
“Hey, the menu looks alright. And they have
private rooms….”
