I haven't watched any of those movies. But, well, the Oscars is pretty predictable anyway.

I usually watch the show for the fashion and stupid singing parts that people hate. Don't really care about the awards much, especially after Gwynneth won over Cate and that stupid Tarzan song over Aimee Mann's Save Me.

It'll be 3.30am here when the Oscars start (the interviews on the red carpet will start at 1am)....... Guess who's going to watch it live despite that

I haven't seen any of the nominated movies, either... I just tune in for the stars and the dresses. Whee!

I can't sit through the Oscars. Too many commercials. I played Tekken 5 and Katamari Damacy all night instead.

What a boring show. I think I fell asleep for about 2 hours.

Prepare for ranting...
- Why was Beyonce there? Was she really necessary? And Beyonce singing in French? :scratch Why didn't they just let those boys sing by themselves?
- Why was Puffy there? Was he really necessary? And Puffy introducing a performance? :scratch Why didn't they just let someone else do it?
- Why was Julia Roberts there? Was she really.... Okay, you know how it goes.
- A serious lack of beautiful people except for a few. I want to see more beautiful people. Where was Uma? CZJ?
- There should've been more clips. The show's long and boring and it will always be. At least add in more clips. And dancing, too! Or bring back Cirque du Soleil!!

I was glad that Jamie won, and I also loved his speech. "I can't wait to go to sleep tonight. We have a lot to talk about."...that's so sweet. And Kate Winslet was so cute when she got really excited when Eternal Sunshine won the screenplay award.

UMA was hot but she wasn't even at the after parties. That's where all the hot people went. Natalie Portman was hot. So was Scarlett Johannson.

Jamie's speech was awesome. Hell, I even watched the Barbara Walters interview and his Golden Globes speech was awesome too. Couldn't happened to a better guy - been a fan of his since In Living Color and Booty Call.

Chris Rock dissing Jude Law was hilarious - my sister is a fuckin Jude Law maniac and Sean Penn whining in defense of him reminded me of the arguments @ JPM. EASY. I'm glad Rock got him back.

At least Rock owned up to Oprah that the bit with Sandler sucked. What do people expect him to do? Drop F Bombs?

Though you gotta check out tonite's Daily Show with Jon Stewar, Steven Colbert had a completely hilarious take on the OScar fashion "..I'd tap that tail"

The Oscars still is just a stuffy show full of the "elite" ... that's why I think MTV Movie Awards is a better reflection of the people's choice but shit, even nowadays its too I dunno, "big time" .... before it was like Chris Rock or Ben Stiller hosts, Jim Carrey, Will Smith and Adam Sandler sweep. Throw in hilarious skits.

You missed some sound bites - Chris Rock saying next year they'd hand out awards in the parking lot. Exactly, I was thinking what the hell are they in the balcony? Lame. At least this year we didn't have to endure a musical number from the host.
