Sergeant Ebata has allowed herself to be influenced by her good friend Sergeant Yofu Runo. Somehow she thinks its better for the 6th Gen Sunflower Trio to quarrel once in a while because her, Ichika and Risa have been getting along too well with each other, there are no conflicts between the three. Perhaps she is inspired by the story of the fake quarrel Runo, Marin and Yuumi had between themselves to deceive Yagi Shiori who tried so helplessly to mediate that she ended up crying later on when she found out she had been deceived. (this whole thing was masterminded by Runo)

CORPORAL Wakana Matsumoto clutched her yellow vest tightly as she braved the air jet wash of the C2 Greyhound's propellers that has just landed aboard the ANGERME. Getting to the disembarking ramp at the rear side of the plane, Wakana waited as she prepared to welcome her ship's surprise arrival.

When the ramp opened, she was surprised to see CAPTAIN Uemura Akari, Commanding Officer of Juice=Juice stepped out on to the ramp wearing her sunglasses. Even more surprising was the senior officer carried just a backpack with her as her only luggage.

Wakana then promptly saluted Akari.

"Welcome aboard The Angerme, Ma'am!"

As she was always prone to do especially among her juniors, the good-natured Captain flashed a disarming, sweet smile at Wakana which may've well conveyed her unspoken word of "Kawaiii!!"

"Good to see you again, Wakana!" Akari removed her sunglasses as she returned the younger's salute.

"Uhhmmm...may I take your luggage, Captain? Is this really all?" Corporal Matsumoto muttered nervously.

Akari smiled again as she handed the backpack to the Corporal.

The older officer then put her left arm around Wakana's shoulder as they both started walking towards the control island. "I'm afraid thats it, Corporal. We Special Forces always travel light"

The selected new recruits for Special Warfare (J=J) and Aviation (MM) will be announced this Wed 29 June 2022! This was announced today jointly by the groups' Commanding Officers Captain Uemura Akari and Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Fukumura Mizuki (ie. the sexy leader duo)

Corporal Endo seems to be a promising prospect for J=J's Special Warfare role. And I'm glad that Sakura finally got to serve alongside her Training Academy classmate Ichika. Congratulations to the both of them!!

Now, the official roster for the unit has Aarii rising from being the youngest of the orimen to the most senior and most experienced Special Warfare operative in this current lineup:

The Osaka Trio of AaRiaIChika and the Hokkaido duo of ManaYume went out for a BBQ outing in Osaka and had a blast for their R&R downtime:

at RiaIchika burning their marshmallows and for the first time in a while, we get to hear the Captain actually saying a few Kansai-ben words naturally. Its really heartening to know the bonds between Manaka and J=J still endures and remains strong even after her graduation. Truly a good close-knit combat unit!

Capt Miyamoto Karin: Uemu, can I borrow your XO for a few days?

Capt Uemura Akari: No, Rinka! I'm not letting you wear her out with your M-Line shenanigans especially when we've got a live mission lined up in a few days.

A few moments later....the 1st and 2nd Generation Trident Academy graduates (elite school for special forces operator-pilots) was found pushing the envelope singing Gabarenaiyo, a song I'm sure we would've wished we heard Karin sing had she remained in Special Warfare. LCDR Danbara's loyalty may well be to her CO, but Miyamoto-san will always have a special place in her heart. You can tell from this performance how beautiful this duet was and how well their voices blended (even more so now than when Karin was still in J=J)...We've all known Ruru has grown so phenomenally ever since Sayuki, Tomoko, Manaka and Karin's departure, but it's just like simply singing with Miyamoto-san causes her to level up even more. I do hope in the same way, Ruru will have the same effect on her junior officers/members so the next generation will similarly feel the pressure to level up.

Corporal Endo reported that Ichika gave her a welcome gift of an ADIRA member colour mint-green T-shirt to commemorate her qualification into Special Warfare:

After which, SSG Arisawa was lounging around the ready room of Hakodate Air Base, Hokkaido, with 2nd LT Matsunaga when their CO suddenly called them in Kansai dialect.

CAPT UEMURA: Hey, you two!! You wanna hitch a fast flight back to Osaka?

ARISAWA & MATSUNAGA: Sure thing, skipper!

CAPT UEMURA: Grab yourselves a flightsuit from the pilots locker room. Meet me at the tarmac at 1100hrs for preflight.

2LT MATSUNAGA: Flight suit? Wait, Captain... I thought we'll be taking an Air Force transport.

CAPT UEMURA: You guys are in luck, Riai. The tower just told me they have a C130 with cargo loaded up scheduled to depart for Kansai Naval Air Station, but both pilots were down with Corona.

2LT MATSUNAGA: So, you're gonna be flying the plane?!

CAPT UEMURA: Of cos I am, you're forgetting you're talking to one of the few Special operators with a sterling aviator qualification...and you Lieutenant, will be my co-pilot. Ichika, you'll be at the back watching the cargo.

ARISAWA: Such a big plane for a flight with only 3 people.

As the picture below shows, Riai was dreading the moment she would jointly take the helm of a plane. She had no qualms jumping off one, but even after her pilot training, she felt queasy just thinking about being in the cockpit.

CAPT UEMURA: Hakodate control, this is Arrow232, requesting clearance for Departure.
