E-girls

E-Girls (short for "Exile Girls") is a vocal/dance sub-unit under AVEX that features all the members of the groups "Dream", "Happiness" and "FLOWER", bunny (who have yet to debut) and EGD (EXPG Girls Dancer). They debuted in December 2011 with the song "Celebration!". The leader of E-girls is Aya, who's also a Dream member and there are currently 20 members in the group.

During the encore, the screen on stage displayed "Ami to make her solo debut this summer", which brought loud cheers among the crowd. The reason for Ami's solo debut is to further E-girls activities. More details on her solo debut will be revealed at a later date.

Towards the end of the concert, Ami said, "I'm surprised myself. This summer will mark 14 years as a member of Dream, but I never imagined challenging myself to such new things." She added, "As a soloist, I hope to show different sides of myself. Please cheer me on."

Ichiki Kyoka has announced her graduation from both E-girls and Flower.

On her reason for graduating, Ichiki explained on the groups' official websites, "I wanted to step down from the entertainment stage and walk through life as 'Ichiki Kyoka'." The other members of Flower wrote, "In the beginning, we were so surprised that we couldn't accept it. But after discussing it many times, we were able to accept Kyoka's feelings and decided to see her off with a smile."

After passing the "EXILE Presents VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 3 ~For Girls~" in 2011, Ichiki had been an active member of E-girls and Flower. Henceforth, Flower will continue their activities with the remaining six members.

In addition, it was announced that Erie will no longer be a performer in E-girls, but will support the group as its DJ. On her career change, Erie commented, "From about two years ago, I've been wanting to challenge new possibilities from a different angle with my own strength."

Takebe Yuzuna to join E-girls again
December 15, 2015

It's been revealed that Takebe Yuzuna will be joining E-girls again.

In January of 2015, Takebe became a member of E-girls' subsidiary group Rabbits. Since then, she has been active as a support member for Sandaime J Soul Brothers from EXILE TRIBE and EXILE's lives. After evaluation of these experiences, it was decided that she would be re-joining E-girls.

E-girls are set to release their best-of album "E.G. SMILE -E-girls BEST-" on February 10. To with coincide this release, they will embark on a nationwide tour in March.

All 5 types come with the same content as the 2 CDs titled "BEST ALBUM" and "Remix BEST."
