Aki had some television roles in the first half of this year, presented in this tribute by YouTube poster dropupppu. At 26 years old, Aki is a stunning beauty, and of course the talent has always been there......Hope we get  to see more of Aki in 2012!

Have had this film for a while but for some reason haven't watched it yet, :banghead: will do real, real soon, thought the manga/anime was quite good, 8) here's some highlights from the film set to the ending song.

Aki was at the Tokyo International Film Festival, and she is in a new film, entitled  'Aokigahara'
Also in the interview is one of her fellow cast members, Hiroshi Katsuno, and the film director, Taku Shinjo.

Aki's latest role is in Aokigahara- see the trailer below.

The film, directed by Taku Shinjo, was based on a novel by Shintaro Ishihara (the politician who recently stepped down as governor of Tokyo prefecture), who also wrote the screenplay.

World premier of the film took place in July at the 9th Skip City International D-Cinema Festival in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. It was also shown at TIFF, and should open to general audiences sometime early in 2013.

Along with Aki, other cast are: Masahiku Tsugawa, Hiroshi Katsuno, Toshihiro Yashiba, and Ishihara also appears in the film.

Aokigahara is a forset below Mt. Fuji famous as a site for suicides.
The film explores love and life through the lives of a young couple.

Great film and role for Aki!!

Aki is also in the Asadora drama 'Gochisousan', promoting it at an Apricot Festival in Osaka on Saturday. :?
