<Madoka Saito bit her lips nervously as the door to the Special Warfare Command's briefing room opened. Well in advance of this urgent meeting, she had already recalled her MARSOC team members who dutifully reported back on the base on time. The murmurings of her XO, First Lieutenant Ruli Hiromoto and Kirara Yonemura died down as they watched Captain Ruru Danbara walking into the room, followed by two-star Rear Admiral Akari Uemura, who was still getting used to her new flag officer role as head of all Special Forces Divisions. Ruru, noticing fellow Hiroshima native Ruli, gave the latter a small smile with the latter bowing slightly in response>

Madoka: Attention on Deck! <salutes both senior officers>

Akari: As you were, Major Saito..., good evening, Marines.

Ocha Norma: Evening, Admiral!

Akari: Please be seated. I know everyone's eager to get back home after a long deployment tour. But I'm afraid we have a pressing situation on our hands. Team JUICE is currently deployed behind enemy lines for a surgical VIP extraction and the latest sitrep we received from Commander Inoue is that they've discovered they were greatly outnumbered for this op. Now, despite my rank, I hate to be the one to send you all back into the fray especially knowing how exhausted you all are. Therefore, I'm asking for volunteers from Ocha Norma to be the reinforcing team to provide target suppression and support. We can't afford to postpone or delay this mission due to its time-sensitive nature and extreme importance in rescuing this VIP.

<Before Akari could finish her briefing, Ensign Nanami Kubota raised up her hand>

Nanami: I volunteer, Ma'am! If it means fighting alongside Commander Inoue, I'm all in. We're all Special Forces here.

<Madoka and Ruli stared wide-eyed in shock as one by one, all their team members raised their hands up to volunteer in earnest>

Akari: Thank you, all. You have no idea how much it means to us. Captain Danbara will fill you in with the details at the Tactical Information Center. Good Luck.

<As the rest of Ocha Norma proceeded to the TIC in single file and unusually good spirits, Akari noticed Madoka was still standing there staring down at the desk>

Akari: Madopi, are you ok? Is there something wrong?

Madoka: Permission to speak freely, Admiral?

Akari: Seriously?! Go on, you know me well enough to know you don't have to ask.

Madoka: Ever since I was a trainee, I have always admired your Team's unity and accomplishments, especially your pioneering generation, Ma'am. and when I finally became an officer and CO of this unit, it's always been my dream that we eventually could be as cohesive and tight as JUICE, someday. I never imagined it would be today.

Akari <chuckling>: Well, Major. Most friends became friends even before they realize it. Ocha Norma had always been a tight Team. Because you are their leader.

Onboard the Morning Musume, the Marine Special Forces team OCHA NORMA awaits at the flight deck for their ride to their designated insertion point a mere 10 nautical miles where Team Juice was currently deployed.

CAPTAIN ODA SAKURA: Strap yourselves in tight on the helo, Madopi. Our weather forecast officer's expecting gale force winds as you approach the Mariana coast. It's gonna be a bumpy ride to the LZ.

MAJOR SAITO MADOKA: No worries, CAG. We Marines are used to bumpy rides.

CAPTAIN ODA: Well, I've assigned Lieutenant Yamazaki to fly you out on the SH3 helo, and Lieutenant Kitagawa will be escorting you guys on her F18 jet. Weather notwithstanding, you'll be in good hands with these two. We endeavour to make rides comfortable especially for Special Forces Teams of the Fleet.

MAJOR SAITO: [salutes] Thank you, Ma'am. I'm sure Admiral Uemura's grateful to you and Commodore Ishida for the support.   

CAPTAIN ODA: It's the least we could do, Major. And good luck. Send my regards to Commander Inoue when you rendeavous with Juice.
