During the voiceover, it may not sound like her at first, particularly since the tone of the voice is softer/higher/more "girly" than what we knew. However, if you listen carefully, you begin to hear the familiar inflections and accent, and it becomes more and more clear that it is her. The coloured contact lenses and coloured hair during the part where she's putting on her make-up might also be a little jarring at first, but yeah, it still becomes pretty clear that this is Linlin!

Hey everyone.

I've been doing translations of JunJun and LinLin's Weibo posts for the last couple of weeks, mostly for my own enjoyment.  But, I figured you guys would find it interesting to see what the Pandas are up to.  I'm going to be a 3rd year Chinese language student next semester, so while I might make some mistakes on the whole the translations should be correct.  If Chinese is your first language and you see a problem with one of my translations, please let me know so I can fix it and learn what I did wrong.

(I see everyone wishes everyone a happy June 1st “Children’s Day.”  Yes! The Anime world will also celebrate this holiday.  Happy er4 tong2 jie2.  Hahaha.  [The Japanese says "goodnight."])

The er4 tong2 jie2 is pronounced similarly to “Children’s Day” [er2 tong2 jie2]. 

Edit: Now that I think about it, it can be read like this.  er4 = Two, tong2 = Together, jie2 = Celebration.  That would make it “Two Together Celebration” or if you expand it a little it would be “Two [People] Together Celebration.”  So my original suspicion was correct.  It is a pun about a day for sex, which still can be considered a day for children I guess.  I didn’t expect LinLin to post such a lewd joke.

搜索可恶的某电瓶车~到底是谁撞了我那？！怎么可以撞了人就逃走的！！！好疼！好吧~还活着就是好事~回家养伤闭关一星期

(Looking for that certain despicable motorized scooter.~  Who was the one who ran into me?  How can someone run into another person and then run away!!!  It really hurts!  Alright~Being alive is a good thing.   I have to return home to nurse my wounds and I won’t be able to work for a whole week)

LinLin was involved in a hit & run where she was the victim.

At the risk of sounding like a complete douche, considering how chaotic traffic in China is reported to be, I'm not exactly surprised that the guy that hit her just bailed instead of taking responsibility and checking if she was alright. For all we know, he may not have even had a legal license to drive/operate the scooter (assuming one is even needed for it there).

The important thing is that Linlin was not seriously/majorly hurt. Sure she may not be able to work for a week, but at least she WILL be able to return.

I'm so used to hearing about former Momusu members hitting other people with vehicles, not the other way around!

Seriously, though, I'm glad to know she'll be fine. Yeah, my impression of how things are in China is that traffic can be a bit hectic out there, so thankfully she's only taken out of action for a week; could've easily been worse no matter where in the world she is.

ketianming, thanks for all the updates translation work you've been doing! This part of the site can get really quiet at times, so it's good to see people keeping up with things.
