H!P Idol Castaway: 2436

aka Shimada Ayumi (2436) and now is known as Jun Kojima. There was this TV Tokyo internet Poll that asked the fans who they wanted in 6th Gen ... Sayumi and Reina were among the list (but not Eri) ... everyone voted for "2436" because she was like the second coming of Goto Maki but in the end. She became a sentimental favorite. Me, I chose Sayumi lol and well, you know what happened

Here we track what happened and go ahead and rant on how ya feel about her then and now!

Then changed her name to Jun Kojima (小嶋じゅん) and again to Jun Kojima (小島じゅん).

hindsight is 20/20 if we new how much sayu would suck we'd probably have hoped Satoda Mai passed the 4th gen audition.
(cause then there probably wouldn't be a 6th gen.)

Miki's addition I think was a little more complex than "they needed another member"

She's pretty and not as bad at singing as some that did make it, but she doesn't look like someone that could go into momusu for me. She still made it as an idol, so I guess it's not a complete loss.

2436 was a girl I noticed also ...quite many seemed to like her. It looks like now she is doing well entertaining people. I wouldn't think that's sad as someone says in YouTube. She just found a new career as a model.

Hmm... I recall being surprised that she was the online voting champ. I wonder if it was just for that video still?

Maybe I missed something in that interview but did they deliberately avoid the topic of Momusu auditions? Is this a company website? You telling me that the talento she looks up to is... Kawashima Naomi? Yeah, suurrre!

All those name changes concern me. How the hell can you market something you don't even know what to call?

She's just too timid, lack of confidence. I dunno what she'd become under Tsunku's training but it might have been for the better if she didn't make into 6th Gen.

i think that she would have been better for mm then koharu and sayumi. But tsunku does not always select talented people for the group. When she did not make it to the finals for the 7th gen audition disaster. And I saw tsunku choose koharu for 7th gen version 2 I gave up on him selecting good singers for the group. I would rather see jun modeling like she is then being wasted in mm. I hope that jun's career will do well.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason she wasn't picked. Everybody would have compared her to Maki.
