Hmm. I was kind of hoping a couple of shuffle songs. I was actually expecting one egg-only song and one with the "senior" members (for lack of a better term). Either way, I'm still REALLY looking forward to this album as this unit has yet to really disappoint. I do hope however, we get to hear Koretty and Mutou in SOMETHING on this album.

Hmm. I was kind of hoping a couple of shuffle songs.
The songs might be shuffled. On the tracklisting for Momusu's SEXY 8 BEAT album at H!P.com, it didn't say that the songs were shuffled (It didn't show what artists sang what songs), but it was shuffled.
The tracklisting looks pretty cool. And 8 new songs, yay! I really hope that Miki and Mika get to sing something in this album since they didn't for the singles. :(

Seishun no Custard is a must hear, the release I'm looking forward to most so far. Also good to see they haven't stuck all the B-sides on the album like they have in the past *cough* Kirarin Land *cough*.

I'm just saying, it's absolutely silly and unfair to call someone's voice 'ear rape' and in the same breath be excited about hearing some girls whose talent is obviously in kicking a ball rather than being a singing and dancing idol. I believe that there's a reason why Mucchi and Koretty aren't getting lines, and it's not because UFA is 'hiding their great talent'.
And you know the only person who can somewhat sing in this unit is Mai Satoda, anyway. If you're gonna call 4 girls in this unit 'ear rape', you're gonna have to include the rest of them in it, too. :P

Oh, come on! I was just joking, I LOVE Nocchi, I like Konno, I like Ishikawa. I know none of OG can sing, but I really like this unit. And I'm not gonna say Mucchi or Kore can't sing until I hear their voices. You're just making a big deal of it.
And maybe the reason why Mucchi and Kore doesn't get to sing isn't because they can't sing. I'm not saying they can, just saying we don't know.

The covers aren't... too bad. The limited edition's too orange and reminds me of the Brady Bunch and the background doesn't go with the pictures in the regular edition. I just hope the songs are better than the covers. :lol:

Ah Kara Genki sounds like a repetitive song so far T__T I don't like the singing melody. But maybe it will sound better in higher quality :)
I like Koi uranai better o/ The intro alone gets me excited, thinking "this will be a good one". Serious non-ballad songs like this are my thing ROFL

Kara Genki, I have a feeling, will grow on me. Plus, it has the potential to sound great in HQ. Not to mention I'm glad to hear Konno again (and I'm a big Rika fan, so that's always a plus. :heart:)

The very beginning of Seishun no Custard made me go "wtf," but when the disco-pop started, all was well again. I really enjoy this song and the style, really. Plus the pairing is just awesome.
Kiss Shiyou wins, but I'm also a little bias. :P
I just wish it was a little more upbeat for the two of them.

Mini review after two listens:
1. Dakishimete... Namida
Funky, catchy song. Danceable. Has distracting Tsunku sounds. shirenu likes!
2. Osaki ni Sunzurei
Energetic, happy, cute song. This is one of the kind of songs I want and expect from H!P; simply fun. shirenu likes!
3. Narihajimeta Koi no BELL
Awesome already from before. Groovy, baby~ shirenu likes!
4. Seishun no Custard (Yoshizawa Hitomi, Satoda Mai)
This is so disco!!! LOL!! A fun song, maybe even a bit too disco for me though. Reminds me of dudes with hairy chests dancing in glittery outfits. shirenu says: 's aight, 's aight
5. Kokoro no Tanima (Noto Arisa, Mano Erina)
First impression: Nocchi and Manoeri sound like bunnies together :lol: THEY TOTALLY DO. Mental image... This kinda reminds me of that flash where that cat sings that super sad song. Anyway, a cute ballad. Not usually a huge fan of ballads, but because they sound like bunnies, I think I'll listen to this song more than I usually would. I think their voices fit this song perfectly. It's like really soft pink. shirenu likes!
6. Yattarouze!
Awesome already from before, shirenu likes!
7. Chikyuu to Tsuki Kare to Watashi (Ishikawa Rika, Konno Asami, Sengoku Minami, Sawada Yuri)
First impression: This is basically Rika feat. the other girls :lol: But the others have lines, too. Hmm I like it, it's serious and upbeat, but maybe feels a bit empty. A cool song. Oh what the heck, shirenu likes! (I was going to say 'aight' first, but I guess it grew on me while I was listening XD)
8. Kara Genki (Yoshizawa Hitomi, Ishikawa Rika, Satoda Mai, Konno Asami)
Kind of latino-ish. Definitely sounds better than in preview, but there have been better latino-ish songs in H!P before ("Anata iro" and "Datte ikite kanakucha" come to mind). So, shirenu says: 's aight, 's aight! Not bad.
9. Koi Uranai Doori ni wa Naranai wa (Korenaga Miki, Noto Arisa, Mano Erina, Sengoku Minami, Sawada Yuri, Mutou Mika)
This song has SUCH AN AWESOME intro. I swear. This is my favourite new song on this album. Serious, upbeat. I already loved the preview and I'm happy to hear it in good quality. Also, I'm somewhat sure I hear Koretty have at least two lines in this, so Mucchi probably has, too. Omg, I love this song! The instrumental part is great, too :D Kekekeke. Of course, the vocals are shining with inexperience, but they don't bother me cuz the song is so good. shirenu loves!
10. Kiss Shiyou (Ishikawa Rika, Konno Asami)
Wah, sadly, my least favourite track on the album. I think it's interesting how Rika and Konno's voices are really different here from usual, but the song itself is quite boring, actually. I was hoping for something sugary. This song kinda reminds me of the mediocre Nacchi album song material. shirenu will skip in the future
In sum, this album exceeds my expectations, and I'll definitely buy it, too. :muffin: It's not like a revolutionary album in pop music (haha), but I think it has something for every H!P fan. Yes, this album kind of shows what I expect from the pop music that I listen to.

First: I love Narihajimeta Koi no BELL and Yattarouze!
New songs:

Osakini Sunzurei: Typical H!P song xD Not my favourite but still pretty good.
Seishun no Custard: My favorite after the singles. Yossi sounds so :hip drool: Yossi and Mai sound great together. Just add Ayaka here and it would be perfect XD
Kokoro no Tanima: Nice song. Reminds me from Christmas songs O_O But I don't like Manoeri and Nocchi… So this is a song I can be listening but not really paying attention.
Chikyuu to Tsuki Kare to Warashi: I don’t know what to think about this… I want more Sengoku and Sawada XD But sounds like this is most Rika singing. Sometimes this sound pretty good but sometimes not…
Kara Genki: Like a lot. But I still can’t stand Konno’s voice… Rika’s OK (sometimes) and Satoda is OK, too. Yossi :heart:
Koi Uranai Toori ha Naranaiwa: Like the instruments. And they don’t sound as bad as I thought they would. So let’s say I like this XD
Kiss Shiyou: ... I don’t think I will be listening to this a lot… This could be good song, but I just don’t like Rika’s or Konno’s voice in this…
Overall I’m happy I ordered this album ^_^

it's your typical happy go lucky h!p song. the perf must be lots of fun to watch!!

the hairy barechested disco factor is quite hearable, but the yossimai pairing makes the song listenable
5. Kokoro no Tanima (Noto Arisa, Mano Erina)
hmm, the pairing is ok, but the composition of the song is a bit unclear. the melody in the refrain is weird in a sense that i was totaly lost...maybe not making any sense rite now. Anyway, i'd skip this song if possible.

i'm surprised by the coolness of the arrangement! woah~ 8) And the eggs did a great job . I hope they put more emo in the perf than in this recording. Great song nonetheless~

I Love this album! The singles and Koi Uranai Doori ni wa Naranai wa are definitly my favorites and I like most of the other songs, too. Anytime I get to hear Konkon, I'm happy XD

I'm loving this album, great songs.
a rhetorical question since i might already know the answer but.... did Tsunku produced the entire album? cuz there are some great rhythms on here. If it true then maybe Tsunku hasn't lost his touch... and i was beginning to lose hope in him.

It's good but I'm not feeling, that's why it's going red.
Well, nevermind the reds. I'm simply not into those songs. Overall, this album is very good. Thankyou for not giving any general pimping to this UFA! They only gathered everyone that was left behind plus some eggs and gave them something to do in the meantime, probably with the only purpose to show off the eggs to the crowd. A pity they're not taking this serious but at least Hitomi and Rika have something to do.

Kara Genki written by Miura Yoshiko (see Japanese Wikipedia (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%B8%89%E6%B5%A6%E5%BE%B3%E5%AD%90)), and 9. Koi Uranai Doori ni wa Naranai wa composed by Hatake (Sharam Q guitarist).

This album was a totally pleasant surprise. Don't get me wrong~ I loved Narihajimeta and Yattarouze!, but I wasn't so sure how the album would come off... and I absolutely love it. The Eggs have the best song on it, hands down, with 恋占い通りにはならないわ, but I thought all the songs were pretty solid. Really liked カラゲンキ for the 'golden girls' all together, haha :heart:
This will definitely be in my H!P collection.
