YES a chinese site. Something I can understand for once. <3

I'll help translate stuff too, if anyone needs me to.

-goes to media area and starts looking through videos-

Most of the messages are mostly like "Hi I/we are so-and-so. Hello Project's official Taiwan site is finally open! Please check in regularly for news!". Yeah, more or less. XD

Quote
[Morning Musume message]

Morning Musume: Hello everyone!
...
Linlin: We're very much anticipating going to Taiwan soon [lit: quickly go to Taiwan]
Junjun: and having a concert soon. [not sure if it translates as concert... it's something to do with singing.]

Yeah it translates as concert. :) Like how Junjun finishes Linlin's sentence. :D

Satoda Mai's message is long. o_o
Translation as follows:

Mai: Hi everyone! Greetings to all the fans in Taiwan, I am Satoda Mai of Country Musume! H!P's official Taiwan site is finally open! As this is an increasingly globalised world, I wish to become a global artiste too. Knowing Japanese is no longer enough, I wish to learn Mandarin and Taiwanese, and well as all sorts of other languages. Hopefully I will be able to go to Taiwan in the future, and it would be great to be able to communicate with all of you there. Even though there's a great distance between us (I think she's not referring to physical distance, probably more on personal connection), I hope we can work on closing that distance. There are many special media clips and computer wallpapers available, as well as interesting related activities on the site, so everyone please feel free to check them out. This has been Satoda Mai of Country Musume!

Gawd damn, that was long. They need to install a pause button for me to translate, darn it.

Ok, getting sleepy now. XD Will continue at another time.

great website, kool.  and the kool fact is that MoMusu and H!P is actually going on an international stage, (China/Taiwan at the moment). Just thinking about how they're expanding their activities into different countries and culture is kool. anticipating they're international debut in the West.  hope they'll become successful, wish them the best of luck.  Hope the Chinese will give them lots of support.

means almost nothing to me, cuz i live in USA. but with them debuting in China, there's might be a possibility of them debuting in USA as well. i wonder how they'll do over here if they decide to... but we'll see how they will do in Taiwan and china.
Also... would there be a possibility of them releasing chinese singles?  singing in mandarin or taiwanese?

Looks like they caught on to the fake info I entered when registering, Dang.  ;)
Can't go anywhere in the site without getting a popup and then asking for more info.
No idea what any of it means.
Och well, it was good while it lasted!

Same happened to me, turns out all they were asking was my real international address, because they are monitoring IP addresses, so they know we are not in China. So, I entered my real name, my real address, and I still have access. Just can't buy anything from the store, and won't be able to upgrade for the Fan Club. But I can still download the free content, and have access to the diferent sections.

The site now says
Quote
早安家族中文官方網站目前正進行FAN CLUB升級暨海外購物系統更新作業中
預計2007/07/01 中午12:00升級完畢對外開放
which translates as

"The Chinese Hello Project site is performing a system update for FAN CLUB and overseas purchases
It will come back on 2007/07/01 at 12:00"

So that mean anyone who can scramble there way through the chinese could be an FC member... like a honest to normal FC member????

Or are we talking like they are a different brand...still incapable of some of the same stuff the regular people get?

Well either way thats awesome! Lucky people who can do it!

All the new media including wallpapers are now fanclub only. I regret signing up with a fake name, id, and address. I really want to see that Fujimoto Miki greeting video.  :banghead:
