Juice=Juice was having their post-mission meal on the mess deck of the carrier when their CO, Tomoko suddenly announced that they've been activated for a rescue mission.

Tomoko: Alright girls, we're gonna be extracting a Musume pilot who's been shot down behind enemy lines. Sayuki will brief you on the plane.
<Sounds of groaning were heard as Tomoko's elite team grabbed their combat gear and headed out of the Mess. Manaka was about to be the last to exit the room when Tomoko stopped her>

Tomoko: You're sitting this one out, Manaka.
Manaka: But why, Captain?!

Tomoko: That's an order, Lieutenant. That's all you need to know.

Manaka sensed something was off. She knew she would not be able to get a straight answer out of her Executive officer/subleader Takagi Sayuki as well. So she decided to press the CAG of Momusu, Commander Ishida, who after being pressed by the Special Warfare officer, finally relented and revealed that Lieutenant Morito was the aviator who was shot down during her recon mission.

As tears started welling in Manaka's eyes, she recalled the last outing she went on that eventful date with Chisaki on their shore leave:

When Commodore Airi Suzuki was asked which active duty unit would she like to join, she said Beyoonds. But not before saying that she has no chance joining Juice=Juice which she feels is renowed for their vocal prowess. Airi said J=J should be renamed Voice=Voice.

I really missed the days when Tomoko was just a tyrranical, carefree Executive Officer.

CDJ interviewed two half-teams of Juice=Juice. The part where Ruru mentioned that she and Karin frequently annoyed each other was hilarious

The atmosphere in the Special Warfare Ready Room turns out to be a jovial, warm and welcoming one.

I have no doubts Reirei will find herself a home in the company of the members!

No matter how much Karin have wanted her graduation not to be a sad one, some members were still caught weeping openly when the camera focus was not on them. During her farewell speech to Karin on behalf of her Team, Captain Kanazawa struggled so hard to fight back her tears.

Apart from the initial costume colour designations by rank, we can really tell apart the senior Original Members from the newer members from the sheer level of their performance.

Tomoko entered the interrogation room of the missile cruiser Tsubaki Factory, where a man sat with his hands and legs tied to the armrest and chair legs respectively.

"Has he said anything yet?" Tomoko asked as she folded her arms.

"Rather than wasting our time here, I say we waste this degenerate scum, Captain". Staff Sergeant Matsunaga glared at the hapless male wota who was expecting some serious backbreaking being inflicted on him by Juice=Juice's resident yankii. The look on Riai's eyes was enough to break his spirit.

There has been rumours circulating around that Flight Sergeant Hashisako Rin of Angerme's carrier wing and Staff Sergeant Matsunaga Riai of Special Forces, have not been on speaking terms with each other for months right now. This cold war feud seemed to be the result of an earlier altercation where Rin left Riai in a lurch during one of their get together.

However, wotas discovered some more evidence that prior to their assignments to their units, Riai and Rin has been doing some "bullying" on Shion Tamenaga when she was still a KSS cadet trainee. Both Riai and Rin told Shion to stand at attention while they took some unflattering photos of the hapless Tamenaga.

The aircraft carrier ANGERME hosted "Juice=Juice" onboard their ship while half of the special forces team was doing their Solo event.

In commemoration of this occasion, they took a joint photo with the ANGERME members posing with "J=J signs" while Juice=Juice reciprocates while doing the "A" (for Angerme) signs. Except for one sulking Juice member who refused to comply.

Needless to say, Takagi Sayuki, the Executive Officer, pulled Riai to one side and asked her point-blank: "Riai-chan, why are you behaving this way? You're perfectly happy while being stationed onboard Momusu and even Beyoooonds. Just what is your problem? Why do you hate ANGERME so much?"

Riai couldn't look at her XO in the eye. She simply muttered: "I never hated Angerme as a whole, Commander. I just hate Hashisako Rin"

At this point, Sayuki realized she could'nt let this cold war feud between the 2 specialists go out of hand, especially when she knows that Flight Sergeant Hashisako is the one who will be packing all of Juice=Juice's combat parachutes when they get activated for a mission requiring them to jump out of a C2 Greyhound aircraft soon enough.

I quarrel a lot with Rin-chan. Even though we quarrel, it’s always over silly little things. Like I got sulky with Rin-chan because she went home before me. Also, the both of us like pulling pranks, although that’s also been a source of trouble. Like there have been times when I tell her that I have something serious to talk about with a sombre tone. Once, there was a Marine Raider who was stranded in the middle of a dense thick forest. Out in the distance, she could make out a team walking towards her direction. When they got closer, the 2nd Lieutenant snapped to attention and saluted the Team's leader when she noticed the 4 bars of a Navy Captain on her shoulders. The senior officer, one named Tomoko Kanazawa, returned her salute and asked her:

"What happened to your team, Marine?"

"They were KIA, Ma'am..all 4 of them". The raider named Inoue fought hard to keep her tears at bay as Tomoko glanced over to her XO, Takagi Sayuki, who smiled and nodded.

"Well, you can ride with us if you want. what's your role in your team?"

"I'm an advance scout. At least...I used to be" Inoue replied.

Tomoko and her team members had a sympathetic look on their faces.

"Lieutenant-Commander Miyamoto here is going to be leaving us soon...so we could really use a new advance scout...so...what do you say, Lieutenant?"

A smile carved out of Inoue Rei's lips. For the next few months, she had to prove her mettle to her new teammates that she is worthy of wearing the Special Warfare badge, even going one on one with all the senior team members on various challenge tests. It still was a struggle for her to keep up, but it wasn't too much for her since she had the experience and skill while being part of the Marine special forces team, Kobushi
