Since my collabo with Micheal(MayukiIsLife) "Dishonored" is coming to a close, here's the official prologue of our next project together. An all NMB, featuring the new co-current & transfer members~ :3

Or, for short...
NMB Gakuen: Rock Star Meets Pop Idol
(Prologue)
In the heart of Japan, that is Osaka, there lives comedy, takoyaki, and music. Rock stars and pop idols have been born and rose to stardom from Osaka.
In Namba, there is Namba Girls’ Academy, where we, the NMB rock band shall finally rise and beat our rival, the idol club.
See, we’ve been going at it for a while, now, for who knows how long. It’s like a Civil War.
Well… no one’s killing each other(lol). But music is something we take seriously, and now, I finally have the chance to beat them...
Or, at least… that’s what I thought…
But then….

Chapter 1: Life as it Happens To Be
Sayanee’s POV
“One, two, three, four!”
Our music, loud. Our style, hard and rough. Our motto is “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE”. We are NMB’s rock band, “ANGEL”, the best rock band in the heart of Osaka.
“Alright, everyone, take five!”
My name is Yamamoto Sayaka, nickname “Sayanee”. I’m the band leader and lead vocalist. I also play guitar when I need to. I think I’m popular for my rock star style and boyish attitude, which is why most of my fans are girls.
“Sayanee, awesome as always.” I heard my other lead guitarist say.
Her name is Murase Sae. Honestly, she’s quite useful. She played guitar for a long time when she was younger, and she was also one of our first trainee students. She took the place of the guitarist after our former sub-leader, and my best friend, Maachun, moved to Tokyo.
“Mou, Saepii, you’re too sweet.”
“But it’s true.” I looked behind and saw my band’s new sub-leader and bass player say. “Compared to all of us, you’re a real rock star.”
She was another one of my best friends, Kotani Riho. She’s a bit quiet, but she’s really nice and pretty cool. There are some moments that make her kinda weird, though…
“Totally~” Beside her and working on the computer was our music editor and also keyboard player, Umeda Ayaka. She’s pretty much the band’s DJ, as she knows how to literally mix things up with music and make it sound even more awesome. “The broadcast this week will ROCK!”
“You always know just what to do, Umechan.” I fist bumped her as I walked over and tuned the speaker for my guitar.
I listened to it carefully, testing the sound of my guitar when suddenly...
*Ba-da-ba-da Ba-da-dump BANG*
“MENTAIKO!!!!!!!”
We all covered our ears as the sound suddenly blared out into our ears.
“Murashige-san, that’s too loud.”
“And unexpected!”
“Sorry, y’know I can’t hold in my energy for that long.”
Murashige Anna, another former trainee student. She was a part of an exchange student program and joined our school’s band so she could find an outlet for her wild personality and gallons of lightning-fast energy. We decided it was best to put her in drums after our last drummer graduated.
But, sometimes, she tends to…
*Ba-ba-da BAM BAM BANG*
“MELONPAN!!!!!!”
“First mentaiko, now melonpan?”
“I’m hungry~”
“Alright, let’s go down to the Mess Hall and get something to eat.” That’s what we call our cafeteria. The Mess Hall.
“Hai~”
We fixed our instruments and put them away, we started walking out when we suddenly stood face-to-face with our rivals. The Idol Club.
“Oy! Yamamoto!”
“Huh? What do you want?”
The girl in front of me, Yabushita Shu, held up a stopwatch. “Your time is up. It’s our turn to use the practice room.”
“We were just going to get lunch. We’ll be right back.”
“You can have it in another hour, when WE are finished.” Akari said, crossing her arms as I saw her fingers tapping.
“It’s not like you practice that much. We do much more than any of y’all do.”
“Oh, really? And do you even KNOW how hard it is for us to put on a good performance?” Kinoshita Haruna said. “Being an idol isn’t as easy as it looks. We have proper experience.”
“Oh, look at me~ I’m such a perfect and cute idol~” Murashige said, making the others laugh.
“Oh~ I’m Shige-chan~ I bang on drums all day and hurt people’s eardrums~ MENTAIKO~” Haruna’s partner and best friend, Kadowaki Kanako said.
“Oh, SHUT UP! Fine, you can have this room for an hour, but don’t you tamper with our stuff.”
“Fine, Miss neat-freak, we hear you.”
“I AM NOT A NEAT FREAK!”
“Now, now, you lot. Be quiet for other people’s sake.” Student council president, Yamada Nana said. She was in my class and is class rep, so she’s always one to take responsibility.
She also supports me and the band backstage during our concert gigs.
“Yamada-san, they started it.”
“Guys, please. Sayaka-chan, where are you and the others heading?”
“The Mess Hall. For lunch.”
“OK, the Idol Club can practice until you guys get back. There’s something I need to discuss with the both of you.”
“Eh~?”
“Better hurry, you guys. The Mess Hall will be sold out if you don’t get there in time~.”
“MY MENTAIKO BREAD!!!” Murashige was the first to run down, followed by everyone else.
“Figures...” Shu flipped her hair as she and the others walked inside.
“You okay, Sayaka-chan?” Nana asked me.
“You seem… Off focus?”
“What do you mean?”
“Is there something on your mind?”
“Not really. Guess I’m just in a good mood.” she said with a smile.
“How’s the comedy club doing?”
“Going good, I guess. Although, it’s still a bit of a pain having to deal with Jo-chan.”
“Hey, she’s a nice kid. You’ll get used to her.”
“Eventually.”
The both of us laughed. It’s been a while since we’ve had a good conversation like this. We’ve both been so busy…
“Oh, yeah. Also, we’ve got a new transfer student coming in soon.”
“A transfer student?”
“Yeah. She’s from Tokyo. I want you to show her around.”
“Alright. Leave it to me.”
“Thanks a lot, Sayaka-chan. You’re the best!” She hugged me before running back off to do her work.
That smile on her face… I wonder what it meant.

“Mm~ Mentaiko bread is so good~”
All of us sat down at our regular table and at lunch. It was a decent place to sit. When we were able to, we would do mini-performances for the school.
“Anything with Mentaiko to you is good.”
“Well, that’s true.”
“If anything, the tonkotsu ramen is the best!” Umechan said as she slurped the noodles.
“Are you just saying that because you were born in Fukuoka?”
“I mean it! I love this! Salmon roe. Motsunabe. I love all of them, but none beat tonkotsu ramen.”
“You sure love food, Umechan.”
“Un!”
“I wonder who the new transfer student is...” I mumbled as I ate my takoyaki.
“Eh? What do you mean… Transfer student?”
“Oh, yeah. Nana said there’s a transfer student coming in from Tokyo.”
“TOKYO?!?!?!” I was brought aback suddenly by everyone’s reactions.
“Sayanee, if she joins the Idol Club, we’re in trouble!”
“Guys, stop freaking out. We don’t know who this girl is yet.”
“Yeah but what if that happens, what do we do?”
“C’mon, I’m sure we’ll be fine. Now, just relax.”
The girls all calmed down and continued eating, but I still saw the look of worry in their faces. As we finished eating and clean up, we remained silent as we walked back to the practice room.
“You want us to do WHAT?!?!?!”
“I’m sorry, but this is what we have to do to maintain the school budget.”
“You can’t be serious, Yamada-san?!”
“I am being pretty serious, Akari-chan.”
I opened the door and we all walked in to see them facing Nana with mad expressions on their faces.
“What’s going on in here?”
“Well, I hate to break the news to you all.. You’re going to be sharing the practice room.”
“We do that already. We take turns practicing one at a time--”
“No. I mean, you’re going to be using it simultaneously. At the same time.”
“EH?!” The reactions were all the same.
“There’s a spare practice room right next door to this one that the Idol Club will be using from now on. So, don’t call it sharing, more like ‘neighboring’.”
“Nana, there’s NO way we can do that.”
“Oh, come on, why not?”
“This is, just...”
“We basically hate their guts! We cannot stand being with them!”
“Look, I’m sorry, but this is the best we could come up with. Everyone in the student council has already approved.”
“Oh...”
“Plus, who’s that transfer student you were talking to Sayanee about?”
“Oh, yeah. What about her?”
“It seems she’s become a representative for the Idol Club. She’s also going to be a big help with everything for both of our clubs in the future, so maybe you guys will finally lighten up to each other.”
“So, this girl is basically our manager?!”
“No, no. Not at all. She’s just going to help with things like designing costumes and stuff. She’s very fashionable. And, since she’s worked as a model in Tokyo, she’s already pretty much considered an idol.”
“Argh! I KNEW IT!”
“With her on their side, we’re doomed!”
“Ha! Take that!”
“The Battle of the Bands is in our hands, once again, this year!”
Me and Nana both covered our ears as everyone’s yelling got louder. I finally had enough and stomped my foot.
“Everyone, calm down and shut up!” I yelled out as the two groups were bickering and they came to a stop. “Can we just know her name, at least?”
“Sure. Hey, Watanabe!” Nana opened the door and revealed the new practice room.
We all looked and saw a girl hanging up some posters on the wall and unpacking boxes. She walked over to all of us and smiled.
Wait…
I took a good look at her face. The long, silky hair. The sparkling eyes. The soft-looking lips. Her smooth skin and slim figure.
Uso… what is SHE doing here?!
“Sayanee, what’s wrong?”
“Uh...”
The girl bowed and adjusted the pink ribbon around her neck before she introduced herself.
“It’s very nice to meet all of you. I’ll be a member of the Idol club from now on. My name is Watanabe Miyuki.”
No way..! Watanabe… Miyuki..?!

Chapter 2: Life With A Friend By Your Side
Chapter 2
Watanabe Miyuki… I can’t believe she’s here. I haven’t seen her in forever.
Let me explain. Me and Miyuki were friends since elementary school. She was always so carefree and went at her own pace. In middle school and I started the rock band, Miyuki became too busy and lost contact with me while she was in Tokyo.
To think I’d see her again after so long. I wonder if she remembers me…
“Sayanee, are you okay?” Saepii said as she waved her hand in front of my face.
“Eh?”
“You were spacing out.”
“Oh, sorry, I...” I looked and saw Miyuki was still looking at me, smiling. “Uh… Miyuki. It’s...”
“Ooh~ calling me by my first name already. What a player~.”
“Eh?!” Wha-what’s this all the sudden?!
“Nee, are you trying to hit on me, boy?”
“I’m not a boy! I’m a girl!”
“Oh? Is that so? You sure are an ikemen girl.”
What’s going on here? I don’t normally feel like this when I girl calls me that. That’s understandable Miyuki would mistake me. It’s been four years, maybe more, since we last met, and I cut my hair, too.
But, when she says it… Hearing Miyuki say it makes my chest…
“Hey, you sure you’re alright, Sayaka-chan?”
“I...” I backed away slowly and headed out the door. “I need some time to myself.”
I ran outside to the courtyard, leaning up against my favorite tree. I was here when I wrote my first song, and it’s been my place of inspiration ever since. It was where I could be alone, just me and this tree, and break away to my own world.
But now, all that filled my mind were the memories of Miyuki and me together. All those fun times we shared…
“Hey.” I heard a voice and saw Miyuki walking up to me, sitting down beside me on the tree. No one’s ever done that. It’s always been me and the tree.
Now… it’s me, the tree, and Miyuki.
“Hey...”
Silence washed over us as we both just sat there, not looking at each other. Peaceful… awkward… painful silence.
I wonder if she… remembers.
“Say...” She spoke up, making me turn to her. “You are…Quite the lone wolf, aren’t you?”
“Eh...”
“Why does a cute little wolf puppy like you not want to play with the rest of the pack?”
My eyes widened when she said that.
Back in elementary, I always had all the time in the world to myself. I didn’t want to be bothered with friends. It was a strong combination of my passion for music and my shyness.
But then, Miyuki came up and said that to me while I was on the swingset.
“Why doesn’t a cute wolf pup like you wanna play with the rest of the pack?”
“Eh…?” I looked up and saw her smile, which made something warm grow in my chest. I felt like I could open up, after so long. “I don’t… have anyone to play with.”
“Well...”
She kindly held out her hand to me and smiled more, her eyes sparkling.
“Would this little puppy like to play with a kitten like me?”
I continued staring at her, the sparkle in her eyes the same as many years ago.
“Would this cute little puppy want to play with a kitty cat like me?”
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. She was saying those things, from so many years ago. She smiled widely.
“I knew it! It is you, Sayaka-chan!”
“You remember me...”
“Of course! How could I forget my best friend?”
“What are you doing back in Osaka? I thought you were busy with your job as a model...”
“My manager wanted me to take a break so I could graduate college, so he sent me here. But, who would’ve thought, there’s a real IDOL club! And my best friend is in it, too!”
“Eh? Um… actually, I’m in the rock band.”
“Oh?”
I nodded my head awkwardly.
“Well, that still makes you an idol.”
“Eh?”
“Idols are just performers. I’m a pop star, and you’re a rock star, but we both sing and dance, and do awesome stuff for crowds of people! So, in a way, we’re BOTH idols!”
She hugged me tight, giggling and tickling me as she pushed me down. She slowly got up and looked at me.
“And I’m glad I get to do it with my best friend in the whole world.”
“At least I get to see you again, Miyuki and to me that’s all that counts.”
She giggled and stood back up. “You know, Nana-san said I was getting a tour.” She held out her hand and helped me up.
“Oh, yeah. Haha, right.”
“Please, lead the way, Sayaka-chan.”
The two of us started walking back into the school, she was holding my hand and swinging my arm the whole way.
“OK, where do we start?”
“Hm...” I pondered as we walked further… “Ah! I know!”
We both ran down the stairs and we arrived at the Mess Hall.
“A cafeteria?”
“Un! We’ve got the best food served here. It’s so big for all the students, me and the other band members just call it the Mess Hall.”
“Hm… now that I think about it, I am hungry.”
“Then I’ll get you this school’s best item on the menu!”
“Masaka!”
“Sou!”
“TAKOYAKIIIII!!!” We both ran up to the counter and got two whole orders of takoyaki.
“Yabaa~ it’s been a while since I had Osaka takoyaki. I bet it’s as good as ever!”
As I saw Milky munching happily on her takoyaki, I saw a group of three girls approach us…
Uh oh, it’s the three girls from the Otaku Club. They’ve also started taking a liking to the Idol club as well… It’s going to be a weird confrontation….
“Ohayo, Yamamoto!” The shorter girl at the front, Kinoshita Momoka, greeted me quite energetically.
“Ah, Kinoshita...”
“Who’s this?”
“Hai, Watanabe Miyuki desu!” She stepped to the side to introduce herself.
“Eh? Maji ka?” She seemed surprised, maybe she knew Milky as a model….
“Anchu! Airi!” She called the other two members, Ishizuka Akari and Tanigawa Airi to her.
“Nani, Momo-chan?” they asked her simultaneously.
“Look, look! Milky’s here!”
“USO?! THE Milky?!”
“Yeah!”
The three of them started crowding around the poor girl, yet she happened to like the attention.
“OMG, you’re so cute~”
“How can someone from Tokyo have this much style?!”
“Well, I was born in Osaka.”
“Ha! I knew the accent had to come from somewhere!”
Momoka sniffed her hair and hugged her, squealing. “She even SMELLS like Tokyo! And the mix of Osaka in it is perfect!”
OK, now this is getting weird…
“We, the Watanabe Miyuki fanclub, will continue to support you from now on! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!”
“YOROSHIKU ONEGAISHIMASU!!!”
They all smiled and ran off, waving goodbye to Miyuki, who just smiled as she sat down.
“They seem nice.”
I choked a bit on my takoyaki.

“OK, so what next, Sayaka-chan?”
“Hmm… Let’s see, how about--?”
Before I could say anything, a flash went past me and flew down the hall.
“Eh?!”
“What was that?”
“Come back here! Papi-tan!!!”
A girl ran past us, probably chasing after the blur that went past.
“Ano…”
“Ah, gomen. Takayanagi Akane desu.”
“Ah, Takayanagi-san, do you need help getting whatever it is you need?”
“Yes! One of my birds got out and is flying down the hall.”
“Birds?”
“Hai, we at the nature club look after animals and plants. See, I like… No, I LOVE birds so I joined the nature club to look after them. I have 4 birds that I’m looking after now. The one that flew off was Papi-tan~”
“Don’t worry, Takayangi-san. We’ll help.”
“OMG, thank you~! Wait, who are you?”
“Watanabe Miyuki desu~”
“Yamamoto Sayaka desu.”
“Ah, I recognised you Yamamoto-san, I just didn’t recognise Watanabe-san.”
“Oh, okay. Let’s go get that bird!”
We ran in the direction Takayanagi’s bird went to. Whenever we heard someone screaming down the hall, we knew that was where to go.
“Chotto matte!” We saw Nana walking towards us, she saw our faces, filled with panic.
“Yamada-san… We were just helping Takayanagi-san, with her little problem...”
“Akane-chan, did you let Papi-tan out again?”
“Yes, Yamada-san… I made sure he was kept in the cage this time though!” she said before bowing. “Please, just give us some time to find it!”
“OK, but as student council president, I’m helping, too!”
“Hai, arigatou, Yamada-san!”
We continued to the point that we saw the bird trapped in a corner at a dead end.
“Are, are. You stuck there, Papi-tan?” I thought she was crazy talking to the bird, before she caught it with both her hands.
“Gotcha.”
“Bad Papi-tan. You’re getting a timeout.”
“Uh… Okay...”
“Arigatou, Yamamoto-san, Watanabe-san, Yamada-san. I really appreciate it! Now, I best be going now.”
“Bye, Takayanagi-san!”
“Alright,” Miyuki grabbed my hand again. “Where are we going next on our tour?”
“Umm… how about..?”
“Hey, I’ve got an idea.”
“Eh?”

“Her.” Nana pointed at a girl who was sitting alone in the courtyard.
I recognized her as Kashiwagi Yuki. She lived in Kagoshima before transferring here, but she never really talks to anyone.
“What about her?”
“Make friends with her.”
“How? We don’t know a thing about her.”
“Well, at least try.” She dragged us over to the raven haired girl and smiled. “Good afternoon, Kashiwagi-san.”
“Yamada-san? Good afternoon to you too.”
“I believe you know Sayaka-chan here. And this is...”
“Um, I know who they are. Especially you, Miyuki. I’ve seen your modeling in magazines before.”
“Really! Are you a fan?”
“Eh? Uh, no, I just, uh...” I saw her turn her head away and she bit her lips.
I looked and saw Miyuki with a strange look on her face. It’s like she saw something we didn’t. She walked up and stood in front of Yuki.
“You’re interesting.”
“Eh?”
“From now on, you and I are rivals!”
Mine and Nana’s jaws both dropped.
“Chotto! Miyuki, it’s your first day here and you’re already wanting rivals?!”
“I can already tell we’re going to be very close from now on.” she said with a sly look.
“Chotto, are you sure you want this Miyuki?”
“Of course I won’t back down Kashiwagi-san!”
“Ah, if you want that then Miyuki, I won’t back down either!”
“Eh? Even you, Kashiwagi-san?!”
I could already see the lightning in their eyes, a heated stare-off.
“I’ll show you what I’ve got!”
“Me too.”
Kashiwagi-san got up and flipped her hair as she left. Miyuki nodded and smiled.
“Well, I think that went well.”
Me and Nana still stood there, our jaws dropped wide.
“What? I just decided to take initiative.”
“Yeah, we know but still.. That was pretty impressive.”
She just smiled innocently and held my hand again.
“Hey, let’s go back to the club room. I wanna see how everyone’s getting along.”
“Uh… getting along?”
Uh, oh...

Chapter 3: Life is filled with twists and turns
“You guys look ridiculous!”
“Oh yeah?! And you call THAT fashionable?!”
Me and Miyuki stared as both of our groups were fighting. Definitely NOT how I wanted her to see our clubs.
“Hey!” I shouted off the top of my lungs, “We were only out for an hour and this is the amount of your troublemaking?”
“THEY STARTED IT!!!” Both groups said.
“I don’t give a damn! All that matters is you lot are flipping fighting and this isn’t the way we act towards a new student!”
The two groups turned their backs to each other. The Idol club grabbed Miyuki and pulled her to their side before slamming the door.
“Wait, Miyuki!”
“Leave her be, Sayanee. She’s on their side.”
“But...”
“Here!” Saepii handed me a piece of paper. “We need to recruit new trainee members for the club.”
“We’re counting on you, Sayanee!”
I walked outside and sat down at the table, piles of fliers beside me. I looked to my side and saw Miyuki the same, dressed in an idol outfit.
“You too, huh?” she said to me.
“Un.”
“I thought both clubs got along. Why are you fighting?”
“It’s a long story.”
Miyuki looked around and saw that no one was heading for either of our tables yet.
“I got time.”
I sighed. “OK. Well… It all started when me and Yoshida first started middle school...”
“Yes, carry on...”
“Well, it was hate at first sight basically… Nevertheless, I tried to ignore her...”
“What happened?”
“After she joined the Idol club and they won the Battle of the Bands, they’ve basically started hating on us. She used every last inch of her hatred for me to make fun of me and the band.
“That’s kinda mean...”
“I didn’t really care though. That hatred only made me feel more energized and want to do better.”
“You really think that this whole rivalry is gonna help anything?”
“Eh?”
“You guys shouldn’t be fighting!”
“....”
“You guys should be making friends, not fighting like this. There’s no point!”
“Miyuki...”
“I’m gonna put an end to this right now!” She got up and opened the door to her practice room. Then, she opened up the band’s practice room and had them both facing each other again. “Oi!”
“Eh? Watanabe-san?”
“Hey, what’s going on here?”
“I’ll tell you what’s going on! You both need to stop fighting!”
“I now know these two groups have a deep rivalry and I want to put an end to it. Now.” She took two of the members of both groups and pulled them together. “From now on, I want us all getting along!”
“Miyuki...”
“Really? Don’t tell me you’re taking their side, Watanabe!”
“I’m serious, you guys! I wanted you both to stop this fighting and make up!”
Everyone, even me, felt tense. Miyuki seemed like a public speaker trying to get people to vote the democratic party for some election.
“You hear me?!”
“Hai...” Everyone said simultaneously.
“Good.”
We then heard a knock on the door and saw someone standing in front of our club rooms.
“Eto...”
“Ah, Kashiwagi-san!”
“Ohayo, Miyuki, Sayaka.”
“What brings you here?”
“Oh, I, uh… I just heard you guys fighting and wanted to check up on you. Yeah, that’s all. Haha. Hahaha...”
I saw her biting her lip again before she turned to look at us and smile again.
“Well, anyways, I hope you both will get along. See you.”
“Wait!”
“Eh?”
“Before you leave Kashiwagi-san. I want to know your true motives. Why is it that whenever you feel uneasy, you bite your lip? Is is because you're hiding a secret from us?”
“N-no, I’m not. It’s because I’ve never talked to anyone here before, it’s just new to me.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, Miyuki. I am pretty sure. Now I best be going now.”
“Okay, whenever you need me, I’ll be here.” Miyuki winked as Yuki was walking off further into the distance.
“Well… I.. gotta go.” She said before bowing and leaving.
“What was that about, Miyuki?”
“Nothing.” She shrugged her shoulders and started straightening her outfit before standing outside. “Hey, everyone~ All of you who wants to sign up for the Idol club, please sign up for auditions!”
I realized what she was doing and stepped out.
“Same goes for us! If you wanna join the Rock band, we’re open for auditions! Please, don’t you dare hesitate!”
“EVERYONE, SIGN UP!!!”

The next day…
Me and Miyuki were walking out of class when we suddenly ran into someone. They quickly apologized and left before we could say anything.
“Wonder who that was.”
Miyuki walked up to her locker, and when she opened it, a note fell out.
“Eh?”
“What is this?”
She opened the note and read it aloud…
Dear Watanabe Miyuki-san,
I’ve always been a big fan of yours
It’s been my dream to meet you, so you being here makes me happier beyond compare.
I would love to be able to talk to you more and hopefully become close
Please meet me on the rooftop during lunch.

“Wow, a secret admirer already. I wonder who it is...”
“I kinda have a bad feeling about this...”
“Why?”
“What if it’s Momoka?” I remember how weird she and the others acted towards her.
“No. Probably not. Momoka doesn’t seem shy about her love for me, otherwise, she wouldn’t have written a note. It’s definitely someone else.”
“Umm.. Just go and you’ll find out who~”
When lunch finally came, we got a few orders of takoyaki and started heading upstairs to the rooftop.
Miyuki clasped on to the door handle while I reassured her that everything was going to be alright. Once she opened the door, it revealed a girl with long silky black hair… I recognized her as Yagura Fuuko.
“Ohayo, Sayaka-chan, Watanabe-san.”
“Ohayo, Yagura-san.”
“Uh, please, sit down.” She offered us to sit beside her on the roof as she ate her lunch silently, blushing a bit.
“So, Yagura-san, you’re my admirer?”
“Y-yes...”
“Ah, kawaii~ You’re blushing.”
“Eh? I-I’m not that cute. Not like you, Milky..-san.”
“Just Milky is fine.”
“H-Hai… Milky.” She’s blushing even more now. Actually, it’s kinda cute.
“So, Yagura-san, tell me about yourself.”
“Uh… I’m in the Literature club.”
“Okay~ Anything else?”
“Umm, to be honest with Milky, I have all, if not most of the magazines you feature in.”
“Uwaa~ arigatou!”
She blushed incredibly hard as Milky was thanking and praising her.
“So, Yagura-san, we’re you thinking of joining the Idol club or something?”
“No, I’d rather watch.”
“You sure?”
“Un...”
Miyuki just smiled. “Well, it’s nice to know you’re my fan.”
“Hai, it’s nice knowing an idol as cute as you, Watanabe-san~”
I smiled seeing they were getting along so easily.
But, more than that, I think I need to warn Miyuki soon… Just how weird this school can get.

Chapter 4: Life is filled with mystery
Today, after Miyuki finally settled into the school, I decided to take her to the Comedy club’s room. Since we were kids, we always like comedy and manzai, we even did it together for our elementary school once.
I opened the door and saw Nana and some of the other members. And, as usual, Nana was practicing her comedy… and failing.
“Nana-san~”
“Oh, Sayaka-chan, Miyuki-chan.”
“Whatcha doin’~?”
“Just practicing for the competition that’s coming up. Our club participates in the Owarai Nippon competition each year to represent our school.”
“Have you ever won?”
Nana’s expression became stale. “Nope...”
“Sayaka-chan~~~” Jo came up and hugged me around the neck tight. “We need funny people like you! Baba over here isn’t cutting it!”
“WHAT WAS THAT, YOU BRAT?!?!?!”
“Akanbe~”
I looked and saw Miyuki’s face as she watched Nana try to calm down Jo. She turned to me and whispered, “Is Jo-chan a Zashiki Warashi?”
“No.”
Although, weird stuff does happen at this school… I guess now would be a good time to tell her.
“Say, Miyuki...” I said to her. “You’ve been going to this school for a while now. There’s something you should know.”
“Nani?”
“Have you ever heard of the Seven Mysteries?”
“Yeah. I was actually in Episode 5 as a guest star for the series.”
“Not the TV drama. Our school actually has Seven Mysteries. A lot of weird stuff happens in this school. Maybe not just seven. Maybe eight. Nine. Or even TEN!”
“Really?”
“You believe me?”
“So-so.”
“OK, well, I’ve got a story that will make you believe. It actually happened in this club, the Comedy club, and it happened… to Nana.”
Flashback
It wasn’t too long ago when it happened. I was helping out with the Comedy club, and Nana was practicing her routines as usual.
But, the one thing that was different was she didn’t fail miserably. All of the gags she did were incredibly hilarious.
But then, one day…
*POOF*
“Hello~”
“EH?! Who are you?!”
“We are fairies from Suberi-land.”
“Yamada-san, we need your help. We believe you have the potential to save our world!”
Apparently, the fairies’ kingdom was being attacked by an evil wizard who was making everyone die of laughter, and Nana had the power to stop it.
“But what could I possibly do?”
“There’s only one way for your powers to awaken and save Suberi-land.”
And that is...
You guessed it; she had to FAIL at her jokes.
Even though Nana regretted it at first, she held her head up high and started failing at all the jokes and gags she did.
Nethertheless, Suberi-land was… probably saved, as the fairies were able to go home with smiles. But, not only that, even after years of practicing to try and get her talent back, Nana was unable to make funny jokes again…
End of Flashback
“So?”
Miyuki stared at me with an unbelieving look on her face.
“You don’t believe me, still?”
“Just sounds too...”
“IT’S TRUE!!!”
“Weren’t you just half-asleep?”
“OK, when you hear THIS, you’ll believe me! This is about the sub-leader of our rock band, ANGEL, Riho.”
Flashback
It was said that Riho had psychic powers and could talk to spirits, but no one knew how it happened. I’ve heard a lot of rumors, but I’ve confirmed one to be true.
It was before we entered high school, we went to a shrine to pray we’d pass our entrance exams and make it into school together. It was a stormy, rainy day.
“Crap! I didn’t bring my umbrella!”
“It’s okay, Ripopo. Let’s hurry.”
We ran up to the shrine together, covering our heads as we finally made it up. We both threw our money in and rang the bell strongly before praying. I went inside to get some good luck charms, when suddenly, a big flash of lightning came down.
Hearing the thunder, I ran back out to check on Riho. I saw her collapsed on the ground, becoming soaking wet.
“Ripopo!” I ran up to her and helped her stand up. “Are you okay?”
“Sayanee..?” She looked at me and her eyes widened. “There’s something stuck to your shoulder.”
“Eh?” I looked, but nothing was there.
“We need to get that off!” No matter how much I denied, she pushed me into the shrine further and took me to see a priest.
The priest said there was a bad luck spirit attached to me and removed it quickly.
That’s when I knew. That lightning strike must have hit Riho and given her psychic powers, as a gift from the Gods.
End of Flashback
“Well?”
“Hm… sounds….”
“Milky, I’m being serious!”
“What’s wrong?” Nana said as she and Jo came up to us.
“I’m trying to get Miyuki to believe we have Seven Mysteries at our school.”
“Oh yeah, it’s true, Miyuki-chan.”
“It happened to me!”
“Eh? Even to you, Jo?”
“Oh, great idea! Jo-chan, tell her your story. That should do it.”
“Now I’m kinda curious.”
“Alright. This happened after I left to study abroad. I was in America for a year doing abroad studying, but then one night, I had a dream that I was back in Japan, doing comedy with Nana.”
“Like you are now?”
“Yeah! At first, I thought I was just remembering all the fun I had with her, but then, I kept having the same dreams over and over. Me being with everyone here. Then, one night, I dreamt that our comedy club finally won the Owarai competition!”
“Eh~? I didn’t know that!”
“Is that true?”
“I knew I just HAD to come back! It was the only way to make my dreams come true. For REAL!”
“So, that’s the reason you came back from America?”
“Well, that… and I missed you guys.”
“Aww~” We all hugged Jo, this is real sweet.
“I even missed you, Nana-san, even if you are a baba!”
“OI!!!”
Nana started chasing Jo again, running down the hall as me and Miyuki watched them.
“Yeah, this school is weird.” she said herself.
“Now you believe me?”
“Hm… so-so.”

“YOSSHA!!!”
Miyuki walked in and looked over at me.
“What’s going on?”
“This.” Both the Rock Band and Idol club were gathered at the poster board, looking at one specific flyer. “The Battle of the Bands!”
“Oh yeah, that.”
“We HAVE to pass the entry auditions. It’s the ONLY way we can get our chance to win this year.”
“And that winner will be us,” Akari said. “Just like always.”
“Yeah right.” Murashige said as she rolled her eyes in boredom. Then, her stomach growled. “LUNCHTIME!!! Time to get my mentaiko~”
“Really, Shige-chan? How can you think of FOOD at a time like this?”
“Milky, we’re going to practice.” Haruna and her partner, Kanako, took both of Miyuki’s arms and started dragging her to the practice room.
“Have fun pigging out!”
“Hey! We are NOT pigs!!!”
“Let’s just leave them be, guys.”
We all walked down to the cafeteria together. There, I saw Shiroma-san sitting outside as she unpacked her lunch.
“Shiroma-san!”
She turned and looked at me with a smile.
“Yamamoto-san.”
“Whatcha doin’ out here? Shouldn’t you be eating with your friends?”
“Oh, it’s fine. I just need some time to myself. No one minds it, anyways.”
Hm, I wonder if that’s true…
“Well, I’m gonna eat lunch with you.” I said as I sat down.
“Really?”
“Yeah. You’re my friend.”
“Hehe, thanks, Yamamoto-san.”
“Please, just call me Sayaka.”
“Hai. Sayaka-chan. Hehehe...”
I spent most of lunchtime talking to Shiroma-san. I wanted to become good friends with her. Something about her seemed… lonely.
“Hey, you wanna come watch band practice?”
“Really?!”
“Of course. I want you to see what we can do.”
“Thanks, Sayaka-chan!”
“Come on!” I lead her up the stairs and showed her to the band practice room, opening the room. “In here.”
“Hey, Sayanee.”
“Who’s that?”
“Guys, this is Shiroma Miru, Shiroma-san, this is the band.”
“Hi.”
“Murashige desu!!!” Anna said, raising her hand. Then… “Mentaiko!”
“Nice to meet you, Murashige-san.”
“Nice to meet you, too, Miru-chan! Which class are you in?”
“Eh? Uh… Class 1-C.”
“Eh~? A first year?”
“Y-yes...”
“Well, nice to meet you. I’m Saepii~” Our guitarist said before strumming a chord. Miru applauded with a smile on her face.
“Do you like rock ‘n roll music?”
“Un!"
“And that over there is our DJ and keyboardist, Umechan.”
“Nice to meet you, Miru-chan~ Check out my sweet moves!” Oh yeah. If there’s one thing you gotta know when you meet Umechan, it’s that she knows how to dance.
“Sugoi~”
“So, Miru-chan, have you ever thought of joining us here at the rock club?”
“Eh? Me? No way.”
“You sure?”
“Well… I-I’ve always wanted to try, but...”
“Come on, then~” I wanted her to try the guitar, to see just how much she likes rock ‘n’ roll music.
“You sure I can do this, guys?”
“C’mon! Just try it out.”

I saw her try a chord, which from what I could see was a C chord.
“Sugoi, Miru-chan!”
“Ah…. Arigatou... ”
“So… Will you join?”
“I-I guess so...”
“Well, then Miru-chan, it’s a pleasure to have you on board!”
“Hehe, yeah, thanks for having me.”
“If you need to, I’ll teach you how to play.” Saepii said.
“Yeah, Saepii’s our lead guitarist, so it’ll be helpful to have a rhythm guitarist on board with us.”
“Before I leave, can you guys keep a secret?” she said before coming closer to us. “I’ve heard Kashiwagi Yuki-san is a big fan of idols, but is also a very talented drummer. I don’t know if it’s true, so please keep quiet, for me?”
“EEEEH?!”
“Eh? Maji de?”
“Yeah, you guys probably never noticed, but she always passes by the clubroom and listens to you practice. Not only that, but when I’m in the library, I sometimes catch her sneaking into the manga section.”
“So, you mean...”
“Kashiwagi-san is an otaku?”
“Probably.”
Well… It seems a new mystery has risen.
“Well...”

It was a pretty long practice for us. 2 hours worth, composing new music as well as helping Miru learn to play guitar.
“Ahh! I’m busted right now~”
“Ahh! Sayaka-chan!” Miyuki almost ran into me, if I hadn’t moved to the side on time.
“Oy! Miyuki!”
“Eh? Yuki? Nani?”
“Come with me. Sayaka, don’t you DARE interfere.”
“How come she now has a tsundere personality?”
“Some of the students here call her Black and now I know why.”
“Hey, what was that?” Yuki said with a glare.
“OK, what is going on?”
“What’s up with acting so bitchy, huh, Kashiwagi? Is it because you can’t stand me?”
“Ugh! You know, I can’t stand people like you acting so high and mighty but on the inside you’re just as weak as the rest of us here!”
“Oh! Now look who’s talking Miss Bipolar! Acting all weak and socially awkward when she’s actually an Otaku at heart!”
“How do you know that?! I-I mean, WHERE did you hear that?!”
“Isn’t it true?!”
“NO, it’s not! It’s a lie!”
“Are you sure about that? How come Shiroma Miru-san tells me that you’ve been sneaking around the manga section of the library?!”
“Huh?! That HAD to be someone else!”
“Oh, I’m SURE it is~”
“Why you..!” I watched Yuki push her and the two suddenly slipped and fell down the stairs, tumbling hard.
It ended with a crash and I saw the two collapsed on top of each other.
“You two okay?”
“I’m FINE.” Miyuki angrily got up and dusted off her uniform. “I’m outta here.”
“Wha-? Wait!”
I then felt someone tug my arm and saw Yuki down on the floor, holding my hand.
“Nee, Sayaka-chan, help me up~”
EH?! What the heck?! Why is she acting so cute?
“Sayaka-chan~~~”
“OK! OK!” I helped her up and dusted off her uniform. “You sure you’re okay?”
“Un!”
“Well, I’m gonna go catch up with her. You better get to class.”
“Eh?” I let go of her hand and ran off, waving goodbye.
“See ya later, Kashiwagi-san!”

I finally found Miyuki sitting by herself in the courtyard. You could almost see the steam coming out of her ears.
“Hey, uh...”
“Sayaka...” She looked up at me and got up.

“It’s alright, Sayaka. She just… got on my nerves.”
“Well, whatever. Come on, let’s go.” I took hold of her hand and we both ran up to the practice room together. “We need to get practicing if we’re going to pass auditions.”
“I… uh...”
I looked and saw Miyuki was blushing heavily, her eyes sparkling more than normal.
“Hey, what’s up with her?” Murashige said.
“I don’t know.”
“Hey, Ripopo, check and see if there’s some weird spirit attached to her.”
“Eh?”
“Guys, don’t gang up on her.”
Miyuki backed away suddenly, clutching her chest as she bit her lip…
Wait… biting her lip? Miyuki never did that as a child.
I think I know what’s going on…
“Kashiwagi.”
“Eh?” Everyone turned and looked at me suddenly.
“I know Kashiwagi well enough now to tell whether she’s feeling uneasy. She always bites her lip. Miyuki never did that when we were kids.”
“Uh...”
“I wonder what would happen if...”
I took hold of “Miyuki’s” hands and held them tight in mine. I pulled her close and did a classic kabe-don (for all of you who don’t know, it’s when a boy comes close to a girl and pushes her against the wall so she can’t escape).
“Kashiwagi… I love ya.”
Instantly, her face lit up like a Christmas tree.
“OMG! I can’t believe it!!! Kakkoii~ so ikemen~ Yamamoto Sayaka actually gave me a kokuhaku! In fact, a kabe-don!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!”
As soon as she knew everyone saw her reaction, she immediately covered her face.
“Oh God...”
“I knew it. Yuki, you ARE an otaku.”
“Okay, fine. I admit it! I’m an otaku and I LOVE idols so much… I just didn’t want to get bullied….”
“You do know, that three girls in this school are addicted to Miyuki right?”
“Eh? Who?”
“Kinoshita, Ishizuka, and Tanigawa. Also, now that this has happened…. I hope Miyuki now believes in the Seven Mysteries…”
“No doubt.”
“Oh, also, now that we know you’re an otaku, what are you going to do now? Gonna join the Otaku club, or….”
“Or?”
“OH NO YOU DON’T!!!” Akari and the other idols quickly grabbed her and dragged her to their side. “She’s OURS!”
“Now, wait just a minute. Kashiwagi can drum! WE WANNA HEAR HER DRUM!!!”
“Kashiwagi?”
“Yeah, you heard me right! Kashiwagi Yuki IS IN Miyuki’s body!”
“Eh?”
“I’m confused~.”
“Trust me, we ALL are.”
“Wait just a minute, I know what might’ve happened here!”

“When Yuki and Miyuki fought earlier, they fell down the stairs I think that’s how the body swap occurred.”

Chapter 7: Life is truly something unbelievable
“Wait, are you saying you want me and her to fall down the stairs AGAIN?!?!” Yuki said with Milky’s angry face.
“No, not specifically, but we at least need to find a way to switch you two back.”
“Ripopo, you know something?”
“I will consult the Book of Spirits.”
That’s another part of Riho’s “mystery”. After she received psychic powers, she became a master of the occult arts and would use that book to contact spirits who could help.
“There are a method we can use.”
“Maji?!”
“First, let me ask this. Kashiwagi-san, was there a daruma anywhere around when you and Miyuki switched bodies?”
“Hm… I think so. I’m not sure.”
“If there was, we need to find it so we can summon the spirits.”
“Alright people! Split up and look for a daruma! Any will do!”
“Hai!”
So, after that, it was the ultimate treasure hunt for the magical daruma. We checked EVERYWHERE! The library, the Mess Hall, the top of the school…
“Hey, I found one!” Murashige said, running towards me and Yuki. She suddenly tripped and tumbled down the hallway before stopping and posing, a perfect act.
“Daruma-san ga koronda~”
We all applauded Murashige’s performance as she got up and bowed. Even though her gags are weird, she has her moments.
“Alright, we got the daruma. What next?”
“Now we need to find Miyuki.”
“Where could she be?”
Just then, we all heard the chants of the Otaku Trio themselves, and watched as the three of them passed us, someone with them.
Yuki’s eyes widened.
“W-Watanabe?!”
“Uh-oh, I’ve been caught~” she said turning around, looking at us in a very Milky-esque fashion.
“GET HER!!!”
She screamed and ran off, the three otaku blocking our path.
“You shall not hurt Kashiwagi-sama!”
“She is the QUEEN of the otaku world!!!”
“Well… You’ve got the wrong person mentally...”
“Ha?”
“News Flash, THIS is Kashiwagi Yuki!” Murashige said, pointing to her, “She and Milky switched bodies when they fell down the stairs during a fight.”
“So… that was Milky-sama, just now? Not Kashiwagi-sama?”
“Enough with the ‘-sama’.”
“Okay….”
“So now what?”
“We need to get Milky so we can switch them back!”
“You three, hurry and catch up to her!”
“Yes, sir!”
We saw the three rushing off in the direction Miyuki was last seen. We saw them in an army formation with Kinoshita at the front with the other two behind.
“Ikuzo!!!”

Her face was blushing heavily, standing in front of me and the three idols.
“Yeah~”
“How long has this been going on?”
“For a while, I guess. Originally, I was a different kind of otaku, but then I fell in love with idols, and I couldn’t help myself.”
“Wait, what were you originally?”
“Uh… an anime otaku. Most likely why Shiroma-san found me roaming around the manga section of the library and told you guys.”
“No way!”
“Yeah….”
“I heard you were a really good drummer! Can we hear you play?”
“Eh? Right now?!”
“Sure!” Murashige happily pushed her forward to the drum set and handed her lucky drumsticks to Yuki. “Douzo!”
She put on some earphones and turned some music on from her phone (Or in this case Miyuki’s phone). After a few short seconds, I saw a change in Yuki’s eyes.
She played that drum like a true rocker, like I’ve never seen before. She was like a pro. Even Murashige had a tinge of jealousy in her eyes. As she was finished she took the earphones off and sheepishly smiled.
“Sugoi~”
“That was awesome, Kashiwagi-san!”
“Ah.. Arigatou~”
“What song was that?”
“It’s a K-Pop song actually, it’s Adrenaline by TaeTiSeo.”
“And you did that by ear?! That’s a rare skill to obtain, Yuki~”
“Arigatou, Sayaka.”
“WE GOT HER!!!” said Kinoshita as she and the others came with Milky tied to a roller chair.
“Untie me this instant!”
“Please forgive us, Milky-sama!”
“Mou~ Sayaka-chan, do something~”
“Just wait a little bit, Miyuki. We’ll be done in a second. Riho!”
“On it!”
Riho opened her book and said a few chants to herself, then the book glowed and two identical spirits appeared.
“Yo~” they both harmonized.
“What the heck are these weirdos?”
“We are the Guardians of the Daruma!”
“What is your request, mortals?”
“We need you to switch these two back,” I said pointing to Yuki and Miyuki.
“No problem, we just need everyone in here to perform a ritual dance.”
“Dance?”
The two nodded and stepped forward.
“Repeat after us, okay?”
“Okay...”
“WE SERIOUSLY WANNA SWITCH BACK, PRETTY PLEASE!!! RETURN TO NOOORMAL, NORMAL, NORMAL, NOOORMAL!!!”
“Hai.”
“No way.” The idols refused.
“I am not doing that.” The rest of the band refused.
“Return to NORRRMAL, normal, normal, NORRRMAL!!!” At least the otaku trio went along with it.
“Now the switched ones.”
“Eh~? Why me?”
“Plus, if they untie Milky, she’ll just run away.”
“But that’s the point of this ritual.”
“The two of you must be synchronized for it to work.”
“Synchronized? Synchronized...” I looked behind and saw the idol group, looking at us. “Wait, I have an idea...”

I looked from backstage at the school already gathered to watch our performance. Half were rock fans, half were idol fans, and then there were the otakus lead by Kinoshita, Ishizuka, and Tanigawa.
“I still can’t believe they went along with this.”
“The spirits said they had to be synchronized, and this was the best I could think of.”
“And now, representing NMB Gakuen’s Idol Club, Watanabe Miyuki and Kashiwagi Yuki!!!!”
“Wait… What’s the song they’re going to sing anyway?”
“I don't know, Umechan and Yabushita just wrote that together on the spot~”
The two of them both got up on stage. As the instrumentals were beginning to play, their rivalry started to kick in.

At least everyone back here seemed to like it. And the otaku tribe seemed to love it! I now hope they go back to their bodies and Yuki could finally join the rock band…
“Arigatou gozaimashita!” I looked and saw the two of them were glowing for a second. I thought maybe it was the lights reflecting off their outfits.
“How’d it go? Did it work?”
They were silent and looked at each other a bit, then giggled together.
“Eh?”
“Sayaka-chan~” Miyuki chirped happily at me. And she hugged me around my arm. “It worked, we’re back to normal!”
“Awesome!”
“So, Yuki, would you like to join us?”
“No, she’d be joining us, you peasants.”
“Actually, I’d prefer to go join the rock band. So I can still be rivals with Miyuki.”
“EH?! HONTONI?!”
Well… At least they went back to their own bodies and a turnaround for us now that Yuki’s joined the band. With a drummer as good as her, we’ll be sure to win this year!

“Nee, Sayanee, what will Murashige do now?” Murashige asked me in third person.
“Umm...”
“Sayanee, I don’t wanna leave~ There has to be something I can do!”
“Alright, uh… OK, I’ll think about it, until then, can you help Yuki get settled in? I bet she’s never played live before, so she’s new to this.”
“Roger doger!”
Hm… we need to find something else Murashige can do. If we have two drummers, that would be a bit…

We need to find a job for Anna that makes her needed for the band. But what?
Then we all heard a phone go off, mainly to Miyuki’s occasional CM songs. Apparently, there was a filming contest in the school.
“Hey, whatcha readin’~?” Murashige came up and hugged me from behind. “Ooh, a film contest? That’s so awesome! Sayanee, is it alright if I enter?”
“Really, Murashige?”
“Yup!”

“Seems like Anna’s excited.” Umechan said.

Chapter 9
Today was the due day of the film competition. Murashige hasn’t been in school for a week.
We found out from Milky that apparently a lot of people keep gossiping and bullying Murashige because of her half-Russian blood. Does no-one know this is racism? I feel so sorry for her…
“She’s not picking up her phone.” Umechan said. “I wonder if she’s okay...”
“Do you think she’s going to quit the band because of this?”
“Who knows...”
I’m really starting to worry. Bullying is a serious matter. What if something happens to Murashige?
“Hi~” That voice…
“Murashige!”
“Mentaiko~”
“You’re… here.”
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” She seems happy… but, doesn’t she know?
“Oh, wait… I thought… Never mind.”
“C’mon, tell me.”
“Didn’t you know about… about th--”
“Attention, students, the winners of the film competition are being shown in the auditorium. Everyone must attend, so please report to the auditorium for showings.”
“It’s time, huh?”
“Let’s go!!!” Of course, Murashige was full of energy and dashed down the hall.

All the students were gathered at the auditorium, a large screen in front of the stage.
“Uwaa~ I’m so excited, Sayanee!” Murashige said with her feet shaking. “Aren’t you?”

“I DON’T WANNA WAIT!!! I’m getting impatient, let’s start already!”
I couldn’t help but stare at her, knowing that she was clueless about everyone talking about her in such mean ways.
Even now, I can hear it among the chatter. People murmuring stuff like “halfbreed” and “Russian” and other rude, racist things.
“Mura...” Actually, at a time like this, “Anna.”
“Eh? Uso?! You called me by my first name.”
“Anna… there’s something I should tell you.”
“What?”
“Some of the students, they… they’re--”
“Alright, everyone, it’s time to announce the top three entries of the school film competition!!!”
As the crowd cheered, I turned to Anna. “I’ll tell you later.”
“In third place, is this...”
The first video was by Nana, surprisingly. She did a film of the entire school, and she did it all with Osaka pride, especially the Mess Hall’s homemade takoyaki and the school’s Comedy club (I knew she’d put that in.)
I was pretty proud of her, seeing how she filmed everyone, just as they were. They even got our band and the Idol club in the film, as well.
The crowd applauded as the video ended and Nana walked up to get her prize, a bronze plaque.
Anna had her hands clenched tightly, praying hard that she would win, but still, I felt sorry…
“Second place, is this…”
Surprisingly, it was the Otaku club. The WHOLE film was Milky, and the students went absolutely wild, especially the boys and otaku.
I facepalmed a bit. “Seriously?”
The three otaku went up and held the silver plaque together, screaming Milky’s name, who also stood up and took a bow.
“Only one left...”
I looked behind and saw some of the girls staring at Anna, whispering stuff about her.
“Anna...” I said, getting her attention. “Listen… some of the girls, they’ve been talking about you.”
“Really?! What did they say?”
“Well...” How can I say it… without hurting her?
“And finally, first place, is this!”

She was bound to find out, but… we thought it’d be better if she heard from us.

“Guys...” Anna looked down for a second, then burst into laughter. “I already knew about that!”

“Yeah, I found out about that stuff a long time ago. I still overhear it, but I just ignore it. It’s who I am and I’m proud!”
“Why didn’t you tell us?”
“I never had a problem with it. Yeah, it’s racist bull, but I can’t help it.”
“Anna...”
“But, I’m glad you guys told me. It’s really nice all of you care about me.”
“Of course we do.” I rubbed Anna’s hair and messed it up a bit. “You’re our Russian monkey.”

“No problem. Ah! That reminds me, since Kashiwagi’s now our drummer… You could be our Video Producer~”

We all nodded, smiling at her with love and care.
Well, the bands complete again, with Kashiwagi rocking out on drums and Anna recording every single piece we do, well, we’re going to get lots of publicity!
