Information
Isoya Yuki, or just YUKI, was the vocalist and one of the founding members of JUDY AND MARY with Onda Yoshihito.
After JUDY AND MARY broke up in 2001, she joined Mean Machine for a while where she did background vocals and played drums, along with keyboards and tenor sax for the all girl band.
YUKI is currently enjoying a successful solo career. To date, she has released four full length solo albums and fifteen singles.

So! Who loves YUKI? Or likes her? Or just listens to her? Or her old band, Judy And Mary(although it has its own thread)? Personally, I love her. I can easily say she was what got me into Japanese music. Had it not been for her, I wouldn't have cared to even listen to anything from H!P. And from what I've seen, her live performances are amazing.
The reason I like YUKI so much is not only her voice, but she's just so out there. There's a thin line between creative and insane, and she's always right in the middle. The clothes she wears and the way she gets her hair done never fails to shock me. In a good way. =P I also like how pretty she is; not bad for a 34 year old, just like Yuko(even though she's a year younger).
I love her songs. They range from 60's rock(such as Noroi and the end of shite) to bubblegum pop(such as Melancholinista and Joy). I used to have her whole discography but my computer died and I lost everything. That was a dark day in my life...
So, instead, I'll just throw some youtube videos your way and if someone uploads any of her songs then I'll just love them forever.

YUKI is awesome. She's weird; I find her quite sexy. ;) Her songs are great. Wasn't into her until early this year though. I listened to JAM a good number of times, now regret not taking interest in her solo stuff earlier. She also has the best pvs. Joy and Melancholinista are some of my favorites. And that one where she touches herself. Wasn't that banned or something? :lol: I remember reading about that somewhere.

Yeah, a part in the end of shite was banned because she puts her hand in her skirt. But she's not touching herself. She's getting her dwarf friends out of there!

The PV wasn't really banned. Just the part where she puts her hand in her skirt was edited. I've never seen the edited version though, so... I don't know how her dwarf friends get out of there.

Well, she's real name is "Kuramochi Yuki" (倉持 有希) now ......
I think she is much more attractive in JAM's era ...... isn't it?

i like her songs and i have heard some but not all both her solos and during Judy and Mary... but it is good.. with PV i like Joy... :) can't say that much cause i'm not much into her songs but i like listening to some of it... among her solos i really like 'Fugainaiya'... really cool... :) with Judy and Mary, i really love their Power Source album.. really rocks.. :) Pinky loves him is cute... :)

Right now it is. Her husband is Yōichi Kuramochi, but she's better known as Yuki Isoya.
Anyway, right now I'm in the middle of getting all her tracks back. If any of you want, I'll upload some for you when I get them all. :)

Angelus recommended YUKI to me and I will be forever grateful. I have listened to YUKI's last two albums and am extremely happy about them. Such a great artist. I certainly hope she continues her music. I love her style and unique voice. :D

New Single: BISCUIT - 5/25
It will not be a CD release, unfortunately. It is still considered an official single release, though. The only way to get it will be to download it from Sony's website onto your cellphone. Apparently it'll be used for a cellphone commercial, and will have a PV. So someone will just rip the song from the PV. c:

The cheerleaders were sweeeeet. I didn't like the middle one though... too tall and glasses. xP Not saying that's not hot but all the other girls are all short and, well, you know. She reminded me a bit of tommy february6 though.

Also, there's reports about a new album for October 3rd. It's called five-star, but no one knows what it is. It's kinda early for a studio album, so it might be a live considering she has a live event around that time, or it can be a Best so.. who knows.

five-star also sold 180,696 copies this week, reaching number 1 on the Oricon charts! I almost bought it, but I never did, and I regret it... maybe some other time.
