^ Yup! The drama is called 大奥 (pronounced as ooku and means inner palace / shogun's harem / palace's ladies chambers on Google Translate). The drama will have two parts but Mayuyu will appear only in the first part 最凶の女 (Saikyou no Onna) which will air on 22 Jan 2016.

In the drama, Mayu's character Oshima has a forbidden relationship with Sawajiri Erika's Omiyo... meaning there'll be kisses and skinship involved (as seen in the trailer)! :w00t:

In association with her 4th anniversary, Mayuyu announced four things that she wants to do: (1) to make a collaboration song with Pom Pom Purin; (2) to hold a private event at Sanrio Puroland; (3) to hold a self-produced theater tour; and (4) to eat beef with everybody.

During the second half of the program, Mayuyu asked her fans for requests. One of her fans requested that she contact Akimoto Yasushi via LINE. Akimoto, who was watching the program, responded immediately, "Because many of your fans are requesting it, let's release a single or album."

Mayuyu was happy to learn that she will be putting out a new release. In addition, Akimoto suggested, "Let's also have a solo concert," to which she was overcome with surprise.

At the end of the program, Mayuyu gave a live performance of her solo debut song "Synchro Tokimeki". Over 30,000 viewers joined in on the celebration, leaving over 110,000 comments.


More details on the new release and concert will be revealed later.
