Son of a bitch. The only thing I'm crapping my pants is about TO & D-Mac's beef. I just hope it works out.  :x

It will work out, because the Eagles are smart enough not to give in to Owen's demands. Same goes with Westbrook. I can see both of them holding out for the first part of training camp though.

I was reading an article on Yahoo! (hmm...that reminds me to listen in to PhillyEagles.com's radio show) that not only does TO's new agent some sorta super asshole who gets his way, he also represents much of the Eagles D-line like Jevon Kearse, Jerome McDougle, and what Hugh Douglas, Trotter? as well.

and yeah TO's not THAT much of an idiot to leave. He's just fuckin tired of being called a hero for his Super Bowl play and prefers to be an asshole

Whaddya think of Santana Moss signing with Washington?

Yeah, Owens is represented by Drew Rosenhaus, who considers himself THE "Super Agent". He is one of the agents teams hate dealing with, also included are the Poston brothers. Rosenhaus is known to have his clients hold out, and/or miss training camp. For example, from last year's draft...Phillip Rivers (Chargers), picked 4th overall and missed most of training camp. Someone will have to budge, or he will sit out most of training camp. What pisses me off is that he signs a new contract last year, and alrteady he wants to re-negotiate. I knew that Owens would cause problems, he was a cancer in San Fran, and he will/is a cancer in Philly. Before Owens, they never had people holding out. Now look...Westbrook, Simon, and the ringleader Owens, will all probably miss some of training camp.

You're right, it's inevitable but at least they got rid of one problem. Freddie Mitchell got cut! And well so did Ricky Ray. Maybe the Eskimos can resign him!?!? Who's ready for some CFL?!

That is a good deal for the Pats. That is a bargain in today's market, for a QB who is such a good leader.

Oh yeah, Manning signed for 7 years and 98 million, with a signing bonus of 34.5 million. He collected the last of the bonus (guaranteed money) in March of this year I think. I think his salary for this year is only 688,000, but next year it jumps to 9 mil, and 10 mil in 2007.

I just like how Stephen A. Smith and his BS blew the lid off this Philly story, TO and McNabb hate each other.

I read that Ricky Williams may try to comeback to the NFL.  He'd still have his 4 game suspension though.  I wouldn't sign him, too much of a risk.

The San Francisco 49ers front office is under fire for an in-house training video that included lesbian porn, off-color racial jokes, a parody of gay marriage and topless blondes, according to a report in The San Francisco Chronicle.

The Chronicle reported that some of the 15-minute video, which also included linebacker Julian Peterson playing the part of a homeless man, was filmed at the City Hall office of San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom.
The video was reportedly intended to give 49ers' players a primer on how to handle the news media in an ethnically diverse city.

Public relations director Kirk Reynolds developed the video, but he reportedly is looking for a new job.

Team lawyer Ed Goines told The Chronicle that the video is "absolutely contradictory to the ideals and values of the San Francisco 49ers."

I saw a very short, censored part of that vid on SportsCentre last night.  It was only, like, 3-5 seconds (probably the only part of the video that they were willing to show on TV).  As I was watching I'm thinking "How much of a dumbass, inbred, redneck does one have to be to NOT know that making a video like that would get one in major shit?

"Oh, it wasn't supposed to be seen by the public.  It was just supposed to be a private thing for the 49ers."  WELL SUCK MY BIG, HAIRY BALLS AND CALL ME MICHAEL JACKSON!!!  OF COURSE it was only supposed to be seen by the team and not the public.  And Paris Hilton's tape with what's-his-dick was supposed to be a private thing between them, too.

Personally, I'm hoping that any of the players who saw this tape told the guy that it was a piece of shit.  I'm hoping that it was one of them that told management and the media about it so that his ass would get fired.  Any player(s) that publicly come to this guy's defence will totally get burned by the media, and more importantly, by the fans in SF.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-be-cuuuuuuuuuuuuue

San Francisco Chronicle website has a censored version but you can get the gist of everything:

DOWNLOAD VIDEO HERE

It's in QT6 but I haven't seen it yet.

What I heard from Jim Rome Show is that the PR guy Kirk Reynolds had beefs with the GM and it coulda been intentionally leaked to get him fired. But still, when you do stupid shit like this, you know it's gonna get out there.

OK. watched the 49er Tapes...surprisingly.it wasn't censored!! Or else my work computer's video is bad. The jokes were pretty weak. You suck i suck, I don't see it offensive but just pretty lame jokes. The lesbians and nude whores in the shower were alright - but shit. this is a professional organization and to think that this would stay in-house would be just damn ignorant.

Troubled Minnesota Vikings running back Onterrio Smith has been suspended by the NFL for the entire 2005 season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

The announcement had been expected for several weeks, ever since Vikings head coach Mike Tice suspended Smith indefinitely following an embarrassing run-in at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on April 21, when Smith was stopped after his bag set off a screening device. A search found several vials of dried urine and "The Original Whizzinator," which is marketed as a way to beat drug tests.

Smith told police the gear was for his cousin. He wasn't charged, and the NFL has said possession of the device alone isn't enough to violate league drug policies.

The NFL's statement did not give a specific reason for Smith's suspension.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Onterrio that he can shake some of these problems and be with us next year," offensive coordinator Steve Loney said. Smith's attorney, David Cornwell, did not immediately return a telephone call from The Associated Press.

Smith had been expected to battle with Michael Bennett and Mewelde Moore for the starting running back job after leading the team in rushing in 2004.

Despite missing four games last season for violating the league's drug policy, Smith managed to lead the team with 544 yards rushing and entered the offseason as perhaps the Vikings' most talented runner.

But his off-the-field problems continued to surface. He already had two strikes against him before his latest violation. The third strike in the program comes with an automatic one-year suspension.

He was expelled by the University of Tennessee after testing positive for marijuana in 2000. He finished his college career at Oregon and was a fourth-round pick of the Vikings in 2003.

"We first off hate for him as an individual to be going through this, but certainly we know the league and the organization will do all we can to help him overcome his problems," Loney said.

The Vikings raised eyebrows in March when they spent a fourth-round draft pick on Florida running back Ciatrick Fason, which brought another gifted runner into the Vikings' already crowded backfield that also includes veteran Moe Williams.

The move seems to have paid off, with Fason now in the running for serious playing time should Bennett and Moore get injured or fail to produce.

Although Smith's suspension means more practice repetitions for Fason, the rookie was not in a mood to celebrate on Tuesday.

"I feel real bad because Onterrio was a big part of this offense," Fason said. "I feel bad because it kind of hurt the team somewhat. But you have to move on and know that he'll be back here next year ready to go. He's going to prove a lot of people wrong and show what he can do."
