It's funny how people always expect graduation singles to be extra special to the leaving member, when that hasn't really been the case for a while. You're lucky if you get a good song as your last one, let alone one where you have solo lines, if you aren't a lead member. That sushi thing is just too much though, the timing for this is horrible. Sometimes I wonder where the heck they get the people working for the management

For me, some of the best songs are when a new member joins the group, not when someone leaves. Since 5th gen we got Mr. Moonlight, Shabondama, Iroppoi Jirettai and Egao Yes Nude as the "new generation" songs, each with a new direction of sound and imo great pop song. That's why when I was bored with MM I was hoping for a new audition, because a new gen means another new direction. All recent-ish leaving songs haven't been bad either, e.g. Osaka koi no uta and Kanashimi Twilight, but I think it was more a coincidence than anything else. I don't think they save these songs for a special occasion, or Tsunku thinks "zomg this member is leaving, better write an awesome song." As a creator, he surely must think that ALL his songs are awesome... Like this sushi thing lol
