I couldnt access filefront yesterday, it kept having an error. But, today is fine. The bad thing about filefront is that the speed for me starts at about 134.00 Kbps, but while it downloads something or uploads the speed starts decreasing until it gets to 00.1 Kbps. :evil:

Yeah....the uploading had been fucked up since last nite. I been trying all nite to up like a 560 MB file and it keeps crapping out. Gonna try it again overnite but smaller files finally were working this evening. :evil:

downloading finally worked this evening. like frblckstr1 says: as long as its free, I can't complaing. and  BONUS files from 2 weeks ago are still up.

REMEMBER!! Don't write "DVD" or "The Latest Album from _______" that screams piracy. The descriptions can be written in the forum.

Things are working today (the day I have to go to work :evil: )...my upload speeds are incredibly fast, but I can't imagine something this good lasting throughout the summer without a catch popping up.

EDIT - uploading fucked me over again....ah well, looks like a hit or miss site in terms of uploading, but downloading from it seems pretty good.

I find DLs from FF work better/best if I don't have any other DLs going (i.e.torrents, YSI, etc.).[/color]  Maybe that's part of the deal.  ]They also seem to DL faster if I just let them go and let my comp be "idle" for a while.[/color]  If I'm surfing or doing work it doesn't go as fast.

The same seems to be true for uploads.  I kid you not, I just UL'ed the short version of Maki's new PV in The Asshole.  I paused the torrents I had going, left my comp alone and it UP'ed at a speed varying between 290-320 Kpbs.  I SWEAR TO GOD IT'S TRUE!!!  It was done in 20 minutes (at the most, I wasn't really timing it).

So if you wanna UL something huge, I'd recommend letting it go overnight, WITHOUT any other DLs/ULs going at the same time.  No torrents, no nothing.  Just let it run overnight.  Come morning, it should be done.

I think it might have more todo with how your ISP/modem/wathever between you and FileFront is doing things, because I am now:

- reading (posting ) on JPM-XXX
- downloading from filefront at 260KB/s,
- downloading from ohbashan at 230KB/s
- have 4 torrent active (1 downloading at 28KB/s, uploading at 60KB/s)...

(this is on a ADSL line: 8Mb/s down, 1Mb/s up)

I actually did email them this afternoon when it looked like everything when down the toilet, and yes, I actually did mention the DL speeds.  As to whether or not they'll actually reply to me, who knows?

OK, I officially do not like FF.

I was uploading a 200+MB Sonim file (re-up from the asshole thread) and:
1) it broke off at the end
2) it told me the file was already there?? (not under my account)
3) it blocked me upping the share rate on BT during this (was downloading the hello ep.)

hmm...guess they got to keep working on the maintenance!!

Get this dude: I upped Sexy Onna 3 and just like when it said "1 minute left" it PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. Sad. I looked at my file list and it wasn't there. I upped something smaller like 20 MB and it did the same!

Usually when files are finished upping you get "Enter file details" right?

Well fuckin like an hour later - the file just appeared. re-appeared. whatever! it was done!! it was uploaded!!

I'm going to take a break from uploading on FF until shit gets stable tho.

EXACTLY the problem I was having when I began using it.  Like I said, I expect this to be a hit or miss service as long as it's free and unlimited.  There's always some kind of catch to something so good...

Yeah. it's just the best shit we had EVER. Better than Photobucket, better than Imageshack. We shouldn't be complaining and just exploit it as much as we can while the goings good ROFL

I actually emailed them about my stats being reset.  Tech support did reply the day after.   Though I have only uploaded a 15 MB rar after that. Well the small file worked

I don't know if you've been having the same problem but when I upload a file, when it finishes, the page never reloads and stays there "connecting" forever. So basically, even when I spent an hour uploading, the files doesn't finish uploading.
