It's been announced that AKB48 Team A member Morikawa Ayaka will be graduating from the group.

This announcement was made by Morikawa herself on February 3 during a concert at AKB48 Theater. After the show, she announced her graduation again via her Google+ account. "My feelings of wanting to take a step toward my future dream became stronger everyday. Right now, I'm aiming to become a model. I believe that there are a lot of things I have to study and experience," she revealed. Details on her graduation concert will be announced later.

Morikawa, who is currently 18-years-old, joined AKB48 as its 11th generation member in 2010. She was active in the group for over 4 years.
