乃木坂46の9thシングル（タイトル未定）が7月9日にリリースされることが決定した。

これは本日5月5日に神奈川・パシフィコ横浜で実施中の乃木坂46「気づいたら片想い」発売記念個別握手会の合間に、キャプテンの桜井玲香から急遽発表されたもの。桜井が「来週『乃木どこ？』のほうで選抜発表されるんですけども、乃木坂46の9枚目のシングル発売日が7月9日に決定しました！」とファンに報告すると、場内のファンからは大歓声が沸き起こった。

続けて「まだどんな曲になるとか曲名とか全然決定していないので、私たちもどういう感じになるかわからないですけれども、（発売時期が）夏ということで、みんなでどんどん熱く、今回よりもいい感じに仕上げられるようにがんばっていきたいと思いますので、皆さん応援よろしくお願いします」と、次作に対する意気込みを口にした。

なお5月11日（日）深夜放送のテレビ東京系「乃木坂って、どこ？」では、9thシングルを歌唱する選抜メンバーが発表される。

7月9日リリース予定の乃木坂46の9thシングル表題曲を歌う選抜メンバーが、5月11日（日）深夜放送のテレビ東京系「乃木坂って、どこ？」にて発表された。

前作「気づいたら片想い」では初めて西野七瀬がセンターを務め、過去最高のセールスを記録した乃木坂46。続く9枚目のシングルに伴う活動に対して、選抜常連の生田絵梨花が進学の準備を理由に不参加を表明していたこともあり、その動向に注目が寄せられていた。そんな新曲の選抜メンバーは前列5人、中列5人、後列7人の17人という構成で、メディアなどでフロントに立つ機会の多い“福神”メンバーは前作での5人から10人に倍増。前列と中列の10人が“十福神”としてさまざまな場面で活動することになる。

今作では「気づいたら片想い」から引き続き西野がセンターを務めることが決定した。再びセンターを担当することに動揺を隠せない西野は、「センターを2回もやるとは、ほんまに思ってなくて。8枚目での活動は全部一度きりと思って活動して、すごい不安なときは周りのメンバーや家族、ファンの方に支えられてなんとか乗り越えることができて」とコメント。続けて「私的にも8枚目でのことは全部後悔なしにできたので、次のシングルもセンターになるっていうのが一番怖くて……2回目ってなったら、ファンの方からも厳しく見られるんじゃないかなっていうのがすごく怖くて。不安です……」と、涙ながらに現在の心境を口にした。

また今年2月にSKE48と活動を兼任することが発表された“交換留学生”の松井玲奈も、選抜メンバーおよび十福神に選出。番組収録には参加できなかった松井だが、「『乃木どこ』でいつもヒット祈願みたいな企画をやるじゃないですか。滝に打たれたりとか、こないだはバンジーを飛んだりとか、みんなすごい楽しそうだなと思っていて。私、そういうのをやりたいなと思ったので、乃木坂になったからには身を粉にしてでもそれに参加できたらなと思っております」とコメントしている。

そして衛藤美彩、井上小百合、斉藤優里、星野みなみ、大和里菜も新たに選抜入り。大和はこれが初選抜となり、衛藤は7thシングル「バレッタ」以来2作ぶり、井上、斉藤、星野は6thシングル「ガールズルール」以来3作ぶりに選抜メンバーとして活動する。

Nogizaka46's last single "Kizuitara Kataomoi" featured Nishino Nanase as the center and became the group's best-selling single. Their upcoming 9th single is slated for release on July 9. It has already been receiving attention after regular senbatsu member Ikuta Erika had announced that she will not be participating in the single in order to focus on her studies.

For this single, there will be 5 members in the front row, 5 in the middle, and 7 in the back. The "fukujin" members, who will receive a lot of media exposure, has increased from 5 to 10. The front and middle rows will make up the "juu fukujin" (ten deities).

Nishino will continue to serve as center for the upcoming single. She commented, "I never thought that I would be center twice. All my activities for the 8th single, I did it while thinking that it would be my only time. When I was really uneasy, I was able to overcome it with the support of the members, my family, and fans." She continued to express, "Everything related to the 8th single, I was able to do it without regrets. The most scariest thing is that I am going to be the center for the next single... When it comes to the 2nd time, I feel that fans will look at me more strictly, so I'm really scared. I'm worried..."

In addition, Matsui Rena, who holds a concurrent position in SKE48 and Nogizaka46, has also been chosen as the senbatsu and "juu fukujin" member. Although she wasn't able to appear on the show, she commented, "On 'Nogi Doko', there are always projects where they pray for hits [of the single]. They stand under the waterfall, and the last time, they went bungee jumping. Everyone looks like they're having so much fun. I want to try something like that, so as a member of Nogizaka46, I want to participate in those kinds of things."

Other senbatsu members include Eto Misa, Inoue Sayuri, Saito Yuuri, Hoshino Minami, and Yamato Rina. For Yamato, this will be her first time entering the senbatsu. This will be Eto's first senbatsu since their 7th single "Barette", and this will be Inoue, Saito, and Hoshino's first since their 6th single "Girls Rule".

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied the the senbatsu list..My biggest complaint is : WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR 2ND GEN??!!!

Nogizaka46 tops Oricon's weekly single ranking for 8th consecutive time

Idol group Nogizaka46's 9th single "Natsu no Free&Easy" (went on sale on July 9) sold 422,000 copies in the first week, and topped Oricon's latest weekly single ranking.

This marks the group's 8th consecutive chart-topping single since their 2nd single "Oide Shampoo" (released in May 2012). With this, they're tied for 6th place in the record of number of consecutive chart-topping single for female groups, following AKB48 (23 consecutive singles), SKE48 (10 consecutive singles), and Pink Lady (9 consecutive singles).

For this single, Nishino Nanase serves as the center, and it is the first single for the "exchange student" Matsui Rena who holds the concurrent post in SKE48, to participate.
