Yamaki Risa will be joining new idol unit College Cosmos as a concurrent member.
Idol College is a collaboration between UP-FRONT and Space Craft Group. The 25 member idol unit focuses on combining an idol career with college life. Yamaki is currently studying at Keio University. She will continue both her activities in Country Girls and College Cosmos as well as her studies.
The group have launched their own website and Youtube channel, which features the music video to their first original song Kotoba no Mizu wo roka Shitai which is available for purchase on iTunes, mora and recochoku. They will make their CD debut in the spring of next year.
The group will be the opening act at the upcoming H!P fall concerts as well as make appearances at the upcoming SATOYAMA & SATOUMI event in Kumagaya. Fans can also sign up for the groups mail magazine.
Yamaki is the fourth Country Girls member to take up a concurrent position in another idol group. Previously Morito Chisaki joined Morning Musume, Funaki Musubu ANGERME and Yanagawa Nanami Juice=Juice.
