Now when you scroll down to the "How to be awesome at handshake events" section, the picture shown of the Airi-wota is a classic example of what NOT to do/show/say when you go to one of these handshake events. Like really, that's the type of shit that makes wota look creepy.

OMG! I just realised that I've been a Momosu/H!P-fan in 10 years now!
I first came across Mini moni in mid 2003, then I found out about Momosu, and the first PV I downloaded was Koi no Dance Site. From there I fell in love with Mari and the mystery that was Momosu.
It was unlike anything I had seen in Sweden previously. A group, with generations?! What is this?! Magic?!



I didn't know where to post this but I just had to get it out somewhere!

It means that when I got into MM the group still looked like this.

I actually started getting to Momusu right before that incarnation (I remember 6th gen first joining!!!), so oh man me too! I can't believe it's been so long. I got out of the loop after Jun/Lin left, but lately I've been way into them again. They seem to be getting even stronger and better and I'm so excited to see them continue to grow.

With regards concerns regarding the recent incident at an AKB handshake event, H!P/UF* initially put out this statement:

An Announcement Concerning Handshake Events From Now On
Tuesday, 27 May 2014

The reports of an incident concerning a handshake event gave us a huge shock, and we felt extremely enraged.
Above all, we wish to send our prayers for a speedy recovery to the people who were injured.

Coming to grips with the severity of this incident, the result of consideration within the company regarding scheduled events such as handshakes from now on is that, for the sake of the fans who are eagerly expecting them, the events will carry them out as planned.

For the sake of increased security for our company's talents as well as all of the fans participating, we will be strengthening our security and management even further.
We hope for your understanding, and beg for your kindness in cooperating.

{Spotted at a ℃-ute individual handshake event. Looks like H!P is taking more precautions.}

<To the customers in attendance>

It is forbidden to bring along any carry-along baggage with you into any of the booths.
Please ensure that you leave all baggage at the baggage storage area before entering the booths and participating in the handshake event.

During the handshake in the booths,
We request that there be nothing in your hands.

Any worn items that are unnecessary for the handshake
Are not allowed.

Concerning the above, please approach the officials,
In the case it is judged to be necessary
A body check will be carried out,
If that is the case, please follow the instructions of the officials.

We would like the understanding and cooperation of all of you.

Interesting to read some of these, given the various snippets/rumours we've all heard over the years. And as much as we'd like to think/believe otherwise, we all should know that, given size of a group like Hello!Project (or the 48Groups, or Idoling!!!, or pretty much any idol group out there, male or female), that there's bound to be some members who aren't all rabu-rabu or who just don't/can't always get along.

EDIT:
Considering the possible source of this information and how secretive companies have been in the past about how much income their members earn, this should definitely be taken with a grain of salt. There's also the fact that this chart claims that #5 is true, which, even though it can be agreed that she herself has risen in popularity herself, I personally find that stat highly doubtful since the group as a whole has only been active a relatively short time and (at least AFAIK) not had nearly as much national exposure in Japan compared to the larger idol groups like H!P and most of the *48 Conglomerate.
