On January 11th, 2014, you will start a tour through the seven Kyushu prefectures. Haven’t you visited these seven prefectures before?

KODAMA: We have visited them as part of many larger events, but this will be the first time on a solo tour.

You will do many fun things, won’t you?

KODAMA: Kyushu has some delicious food, so I want to go out to eat with everyone.

MATSUOKA: But going through 3 prefectures in 3 days, doing 2 performances, there’ll be no time to go out and eat.

KODAMA: That’s right… We can’t go at the end when we’re exhausted right? And there’s also the traveling.

MATSUOKA: You’re more worried now about the food than the tour. (laughs)

KODAMA: (laughs) No, I’m nervous because it will be the first time we’ll be traveling the 48 of us together.

MATSUOKA: I’m looking forward to that feeling of achievement we’ll get at the last performance in Fukuoka, after building it all only by ourselves.

Are there more people aware of you in your hometown than in Tokyo now?

MATSUOKA: Our scope is small compared to other regions, but I want us to catch the fans’ hearts in this tour, grow more, become the idol group that represents Kyushu and then start our attack towards the east!

HKT48 members Matsuoka Natsumi and Moriyasu Madoka will each release their first solo photo books.

Matsuoka's photos were shot on a remote island in Setouchi, while Moriyasu's photos were taken in Tokyo and Okinawa. On their first photo books, Matsuoka commented, "I'm very very happy!" and Moriyasu said, "I never imagined myself getting a solo photo book."

Titled "Tsuishin", Matsuoka's photo book includes pictures of the idol in swimwear, school uniform, and yukata. Moriyasu's photo book is still untitled. Besides cuts of her first visit to Okinawa, it will include pictures of her first time cooking as well as scenes of the idol getting out of bed.

Matsuoka gave the appeal of her photo book, saying, "Not too energetic, not too cheerful. But within the pictures, there is warmth. I am a little embarrassed, but please take a look at a larger-than-life me!" Moriyasu expressed her joy on releasing her first photo book, "I'm often told that I'm 'cool,' but I think you can see a 'hot' side of me that you normally can't see!"

Matsuoka's photo book will be released on September 24 and Moriyasu's on September 30.
