Koda Kumi was cool when she first appreared on scene. I like the song 1000 no kotoba which was the theme song for FFX-2. After that she pretty much turned into Japanese L'il Kim. Sex sells but being a singer your music has to song good too.

I totally love this idea of 12 singles per week. It sounded iffy in the beginning, but most of the songs are awesome!

I love the whole storyline she sorta has in the pvs and those guys are hot!! Hot guys plus a mighty sexy Koda PLUS awesome music. Can't complain.

But where does Someday fit in here?

I feel sorry for the hardcore Koda fans who bought all 12 singles and then find out they be all on her second Best of album. Just to make sure Koda's fans need to spend even more money, there are 3 different versions of it.

Koda Kumi's releasing a four(!!!) A-side single "4 hot wave(人魚姫/With your smile/I'll be there/JUICY)" AND first photobook "MAROC" on 2006/07/26!

Single description from CDJapan: New maxi-single release from Kumi Koda includes four tracks! Features the rockin' sound of track "Ningyohime," the aggressive dance tune "With your simle," mid-tempo summer song "I'll be there," and hardcore R&B track "Gem CEREY". <- I'm pretty they made a mistake, because Gem Cerey is a jewelry brand Kumi's advertising, so the last track title is JUICY. Also, every track's gonna have a PV. Gotta love them A-sides!

Kumiko also took home 3 MTV VMA Japan awards: Best Female Video & Best Video of the Year for "Butterfly" and "Best buzzAsia Japan" for "Trust you". She's totally unstoppable lol

btw what's with the kanji trend in J-pop, are the traditonal characters back in fashion?! First Amuro with "Ningyo" and now Koda with "Ningyohime"
