Ai plays one of five 17 year old high school students in the countryside in the film 「桐島、部活やめるってよ」 /Kirishima, Bukatsu Yamerutteyo (Kirashima, I just give club??) The students are linked by their club activities- volleyball, film club, softball, brass band, baseball. When Kirashima quits the volleyball club, it starts a chain of events in the school among the students.

Ai plays a girl getting a graduation congratulations surprise message from her Aunt.

Background music is AKB48 sub unit "Not Yet" (Yuko Oshima, Rie Kitahara, Rino Sashihara, & Yui Yokoyama)
with the song ひらひら / Hirahira (Fluttering)

Ai really does nice commercials- this one is for Tokyo Gas...
they have a steam sauna 'Misty' but the real point of the commercial
is that your home is where family ties are made.....

I'm wondering why she did not try to be a singer. She really did have an interesting voice and I'd love to see her singing, specially love songs.

A full page story in the Daily Yomiuri about Ai chan,
and her remarkable work record in 2012:

All eyes on her
Ai Hashimoto's gaze draws filmgoers into her mystery
Shoji Ichihara / Yomiuri Shimbun Staff Writer

Film buffs who saw Japanese movies in 2012 probably noticed
one particular young actress appearing in a new release practically every month.

Ai Hashimoto, who has played a host of different characters and expressed
their emotions with all her body and soul, has received rave reviews from many filmgoers

why is she always get the role of a creepy girl?If not,a girl-next-door with a creepy past.Do you guys recommend any movies or TV series of her that doesn't portray her as a person without any gloomy personalities?

Good question akaiseigo, but Ai does seem to get cast in the roles as you describe them.

In part it is because she has been described as extraordinarily sensitive, and her eyes reflect the soul of a serious person.

The new Docomo CM's seem to play off of her serious persona, casting her as a wise girl with a dry wit. We probably cannot expect to see her in a zany comedy playing a loveable airhead anytime soon........

The series of Boss CM's with Ai and actor Nao Omori are brilliant. I think this is a new one:
