Cool episode

- Harucan has no friends

- Tomochin was out for war

- Tanamin talks like a visual kei guitarist. Glad she got some exposure.
- Director bribed with a Yui photo

- Some of the other girls looked super uninterested/grossed out at times

throughout the episode, she looks fantastic with long hair and she's so cool.

Despite my poor Japanese skills I usually have some kind of grasp of what's going on but I was bit lost this time - were they just talking about manga?

I think the idea was that they talk about their hobby (manga) and try to 'convert' the other girls by telling them what they like about it (learning kanji, the characters feel like friends, etc.). They managed to get four people interested

Was a great episode all around. Was nice to actually see Tanamin doing something, finally. Hope to see more of her next week.

I love how Tomochin's expressions ranged from 'mildly interested' to 'what am I doing here?' (well it was mostly everyone).

I think I personally would have gotten more out of this episode with some subtitles, but it was still interesting from what I grasped.

I learned that Mayuyu and I are kinda similar in our thoughts on two hobbies: Fuck yeah anime, kinda meh on the manga.

They usually don't classify members of OOO48 as 'friends', but as 'members', so what she means is she has no friends outside of the empire.

Not as exciting as I thought it would be. I guess that's what happens when it's a live broadcast of a show that airs in the middle of the night.

It was great to see Sasshi's reaction to the first day sales

I think Sasshi was more comfortable calling Haruna than Acchan since they're a bit closer.
They didn't film Sasshi when Kojima walked in, that cracked me up.

The idol event looks really cool. I like how Sasshi/AKB are bonding with rival units rather than pretending they don't exist.

If she really contacted Acchan and she ok'd a swimsuit live, there could've been some potential for Sasshi to break some akb single records.

Kinda explains why Sasshi couldn't call Kojiharu. Pancakes > Sasshi

Yuko clip and live call moments were so funny.
Even the ending bit when they were rushing to do the hot tub challenge before the show ended, and... "Latest AKB News: Oshima Yuko has gone to sleep"

Quick thoughts:
Yuki: I love it. The colors are a bit off, but it works really well somehow. Dig the long boots, brown skirt, green/white top combi a lot.
Ranran: She achieved the look she was going for, but it's not really my kinda style.
Miichan: This outfit makes her look fat. The shoes are sorta cool. The outfit Uematsu picked definitely looked a lot better.

Kasai: Hmm... I like the top half. The entire ensemble looks a bit too adult.
Lemon: Yeah, I would not want to be seen with her looking like that. Little kid style.
Mayu: Epic. Flawless.

MaYuki definitely pwned this ep as far as I'm concerned.
