Aragaki Yui chosen as the charity personality for 24-Hour Television

It was announced on June 20th that actress Aragaki Yui has been chosen as the charity personality for NTV’s annual charity program “24-Hour Television 35 Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu.”

This will be the first time that Aragaki will be participating in this program. She commented, “24-Hour Television represents the biggest themes that are unseen such as people’s thoughts or close ties between people. Courage is needed to touch those things. Though I’m not too sure what I will learn and how I will feel through the program, I would like to cherish and spend the precious 24 hours with everybody.”

This year will be the 35th time that 24-Hour Television will be airing, and as announced previously, popular group Arashi will be its main personality. Also professional wrestler Sasaki Kensuke, talento Hokuto Akira, and their 2 sons will be the runners for the charity marathon.

“24-Hour Television 35 Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu” is scheduled to be aired on August 25th ~ 26th on NTV.
