Since we're at about the halfway point through this season, I can say there have been some nice surprises. The Chiefs have the top defense (although they've slacked off these past couple of weeks) and Alex Smith is doing his thing on the offensive side of the ball to remain undefeated. Who would've thought the Giants would start 0-6 let alone the Bucs and Jags still looking for a win. Peyton Manning is having one helluva season (probably the best of his career) and the 49ers are getting back on track after 2 horrible losses.

Fantasy-wise, my NFL team sucks as bad as the Vikings but my Yahoo team isn't doing too bad. Last year around this time, I think I was 2-6 with a 4-game losing streak. I'm hoping I can get to the playoffs this year with what I have....

Fantasy wise it will be a dogfight to the end.

You look into the jphip league

between 1-12 four game difference and playoffs will be tough sledding. No one has an advantage even Rokun is vulnerable

It had to happen....The Chiefs were bound to lose one way or the other against the mile high-powered offense led by Peyton Manning. My Dad and I were saying the Chiefs might end up finishing 13-3 at best (whether they lose to the Chargers and/or the Broncos). The Monday night game tonight was really something. If Carolina had the talent they displayed on the field tonight, they would've won the Super Bowl against the Patriots.

Fantasy-wise, I must be getting lucky in the Yahoo league (consequently, I'm having terrible luck in my NFL league). Things are gonna get serious between now and the end of the year since there's ties all over the place (probably might be unfair for those with pretty decent records to end up in the Consolation Round).

I'd like to try and keep this thread alive by saying that the 49ers had one helluva game last night (although the Redskins suck anyways). I'd also like to point out that the 49ers are basically reliving the 1987 season where if the score at least 25-26 points, they win. Other than that, looks like the Chiefs are losing as expected (first against the Broncos and now against the Chargers). Can't wait until Thursday since there's no better combo than NFL and the Turducken.

Fantasy-wise, it's gonna come down to the wire on who's in the Championship Round and Consolation Round. I'm pissed off that Victor Cruz lost a fumble (although I played the Dallas defense) which really cost me the game (Anquan Boldin fell short of the yards needed for me to win).

It comes down to this one thing, who is calling plays????? Out of all the things unfortunately, two weeks in a row they decided to become the Pats rather than work at their strength who has been doing well in their last two losses, 280 yards rushing and lose twice. Sorry the guy calling the plays will basically screw the Boys out of the playoffs, just saying

Can't blame Romo for everything, this was a classic Tampa 2 problem and passing 48 times in a game that was pretty much over in the first half. I'm not a Boys fan by any extent but seriously, I called it before I left to go back home and I wasn't wrong about it
